I didn't get high yesterday, or today, and I won't get high tomorrow either. I tried to imagine it, and it didn't even sit well with me.

As I was on my way to my uncle's home, already suspecting something was wrong, I promised myself that no matter what I'll find there, I will stay with me. I won't abandon me. Not this time. Not ever.

And even while facing the nightmare, I kept the promise.
