I’m such a Sony fanboy…

Just bought this bad boys online, the Sony Pulse Elite Edition Wireless Headset, and I cannot wait them to arrive. 65£! Nice….. I could have bought the cheaper and more recent Sony Gold Wireless Stereo Headset 2.0, but looks so cheep and ugly in my opinion and it didn’t have the main feature that made me bought the Pulse Elite: the 3.5 jack feature on the wireless USB dongle. The thing is, I want to use it not only with my PS4 but I want to use it on my Sony Bravia 42” TV and use its DLNA to watch my long list of movies and listen to my music on my cloud wirelessly trough my entire apartment. Or to play or watch movies at night while my cib sleeps next to me. More, I can use it wirelessly on my iPhone, iPad, Mac, pretty much anything that have a audio 3.5 jack. And the Gold doesn’t have this feature. So, no deal.

Anyway, the thing is, I’m aware, really aware - because I have been researching this for months now (I have many ocd’s, and one of them is to research until I cannot anymore products I wanna buy) - about the crack issue on the Pulse Elite. The plastic is shit, I know. I know they break easily on the sides, next the shiny pulse motors that connects the headband to the cups. I know…. But still, after long research and talk with loads of people online about possible solutions, I decided to take a chance and hope for the best.

I will put since the day one, some Zip ties, to prevent the problem, as many people did and told me to do. Using any kind of glue destroys the beauty of this piece of equipment and I cannot tolerate that.

But I want to ask my Tumblr followers that tried or have this headset, if theirs crack over time, and if it did, what was the solution to them.

And don’t tell me about other available brands or even better products on the market like the Astro. Lol. I know there are better products. But again, I’m a Sony fanboy. And I NEED to have a Sony playstation wireless good looking headset to match the rest of my Sony equipment ahahahah!
