on that note I think the MCs of CSYLFD and RYWD would be kind of jealous of each other if they were to ever meet. Even though it's quite toxic, MC is loved by R and has a "stable" place in the world even though it hinges on a single person. On the other hand Merc doesn't really have that stability or companionship, but they're free to do whatever they want (in theory) and have both the force and reputation to back it up. I wonder if they would dislike each other or actually get along?

I've had a few people say they could star in a rywd movie lmaoo there'll definitely be a reference to rywd in the actor path down the line bc it's a funny easter egg for people who played both.
I think both mcs can relate to a certain level to having to be useful to be kept around so I could see them get along.
the last question is kind of hard bc I think the rywd ROs would laregly detest the ROs from this IF but I'd say C and Orla could find common ground and ???? reminds me a little of Echo insofar that they're kind of ride or die for mc in a few ways.
Already exists. Its called Count The Stars. At count-the-stars-if. Its too much variation to add the nuances of colorism, racism and the mc's ethnicity within an IF unless the main character is set or semi set. A lot of writing goes into IFs and I think some authors spread themselves too thin with the amount of variety in their IFs even if I do love variety.

no, that won't be taken into account. I think it would be a super realistic and interesting angle to consider on top of mc's gender but that would add too many variables and I also don't think I'd be the best equipped to tackle that even with my background. I'll stick to making the public react differently based on whether or not mc is male or female.
