Just like a batsman have no control over what delivery the bowler bowls, you have no control over what situations life will throw at you. You have to stay on the pitch and keep playing. That's what life is all about.

Life is like a game of cricket. It will always throw some situations at you just as the bowler bowls the deliveries. Sometimes the situations can be tough and really difficult to face, just like a bouncer, while some other times, life will also present you with situations that will be easier for you to face, like a full toss or a half volley delivery. And you, as a batter, have no option but to stand firm and steady and face every situation that life throws at you.

Do not wait. Start taking action. Go for it. Now.

Do not focus on the end goal. Focus on taking action. Focus on the journey, not the destination.

It's not necessary to see the complete path before taking action. One small step in the right direction can lead us further to the next step.

Always remember, it's not necessary that you always take big leaps only. Small, consistent actions over time can produce massive results.

We often hesitate to take action. We wait for the right time and we wait for the right opportunities. But remember, now is always the right time. So, start right now. Take the first step in faith and that will lead you to the next step. You do not need to see the whole staircase to reach your goal. Just take the first step. And then step by step, you can accomplish whatever you desire and eventually reach your goals.

Similarly, in life, if you are not able to take big steps, you can always take small steps. Little steps taken in the right direction will also take you closer to your goals.

In a game of cricket, singles also add up to the final score. So, even if you cannot hit boundaries, you can still take singles and keep the scoreboard ticking. Singles also help you to win the game.
