i hate it when people mistake "etymology" with "entomology." like, i know where they coming from but it still bugs me

i have some beef with whoever directed wayward sisters. why is it filmed like a fucking reality tv show. it completely makes all the FEMALE main characters loose credibility. if sam and dean were having a fight about whether to stay and fight or run it would be all macho but with the women??? it’s filmed like a pussycat fight. i feel like this says a lot about how they wanted to portray the women in the show because this is insane

The editing and camera choices for this episode are... bizarre? There's been a couple of really cool shots, namely when they were running onto the boat, but mostly it's been disjointed and weird and not quite hitting the mark? Like the documentary/reality tv style shaky cam or the terrible cgi map of the other worlds Kaia could dreamwalk in or the Bollywood style repeat of Kaia screaming and glowing from different angles, it's... A mess? It's a mess
