Merry Christmas! Happy Holidays! Season’s Greetings! etc. I wouldn’t call this a “follow forever” per se, but more of a little shout-out to everyone, particularly to those I’m following. I hope the final week of 2017 treats you all kindly, and that in 2018 we can all learn to love ourselves and each other a bit more. I wish that 2018 brings about much needed change in the world so that we all may feel safer and happier being a citizen of this planet. Remember: - Your feelings are valid. You are allowed to feel things about anything, no matter how small or insignificant you think they might be to other people. - You are not alone. I guarantee that someone has felt the way you have about that same thing, and/or that they’ve been in the same situation that you have. There are 7+ billion people on this planet, there is AT LEAST one other person that has experienced what you have experienced. - It’s 10000% okay to cut toxic people out of your life, especially if they are negatively impacting your mental health. I know it’s hard, but let them go. You’ll feel better. I promise. - Life goals don’t need to be completed in a specific order. (i.e. You don’t need to get a college degree by a certain age. You don’t need to get married by a certain age. etc.) There isn’t a manual for life. Do you. - Treat yourself kindly. Yes, you can eat that. Yes, you can drink that. Yes, you can sleep an extra few minutes. The world will not end if you do any of these things. It’ll be okay. tl;dr: I love you all. Thank you to those that follow me, for following me. Thank you to those that I follow, for always filling my dash with great content. Extra big thank you to those that have been following me for a while even though my interests have changed quite a lot. So sorry for my bouts of inactivity this year.
