I do want to clarify: you say you want reports of poor behavior such as "people harassing past shippers". Just to confirm, that was a non-exhaustive list, and you would also want to know about accounts harassing current shippers on your behalf?

dm me. if you have names of people harassing both past and present shippers dm me. Harassment is not ok under any circumstance and anyone sending death/rape threats has no right in the community. Sorry this hasn’t come from him directly like I know you would have wanted it to but I did see this first and figured as someone with a decent amount of say in who’s to be removed from his spaces it would still be somewhat meaningful. it genuinely breaks my heart to see some of you receiving such vile things :(

From a utility/moderation perspective I would suggest creating a more neutral/non-DM-based solution in the future, such as an official mod blog or email address? DMing any individual person is not a perfect solution (for example, if you have anyone in the community blocked they wouldn't be able to tell you. Also it's just not fair for you to have to singlehandedly process/intake those reports) but I genuinely really appreciate the direct assurance and I'm glad to know someone who folks can reach out to with concerns.

Sorry I really don’t know how tumblr works I’m genuinely only here for my own ship tags so I hope communication through comments is ok? Idk how a mod blog would work tbh I’m sorry. and I personally do not block people for these exact scenarios, figured DMs would help protect anonymity but I see the flaws there. Would using my anonymous asks be a good idea? That way I can forward it to the mod team since not many use tumblr and no names other than the people sending harassment have to be involved? I’m open to anything really I’d just rather really prioritise getting the people sending threats out.

Responding through comments is totally okay! Normally I wouldn't pull them into the body of the post to respond, but bc a lot of people won't necessarily look at the replies when they reblog a post I wanted to make sure this info was in the reblog instead of just being in the replies so it would reach anyone who needed it.
