“I looked myself from the mirror and cried. - i will never be like those girls”

Why is it that people don’t understand that even when you still can see someone you broke up with, you can still miss them. You still can eat your favorite dinner with them but never the same as before. You can still have fun with this person but it won’t be the same because you sit next at them laughing about a joke but never again can you kiss those lips which might still feel like home. Conclusion is; why do people think you don’t have to miss someone anymore only because you can still see them. You will never see them again in the way you are used to.

She stood right in front of him. A whole summer had gone by and she looked different. There was no sparkle in her eyes but she smiled so bright, as if the sun itself were radiating through. He tried having a conversation, and she replied courteously, but she wasn’t herself. She barely laughed at his jokes, she was a lot more quiet. That was when he realized she no longer loved him. Oh what a shame! He had finally come to the realization that she was his soulmate, but it was too late. That fall, she left town and conquered the big city. He stayed back, wondering how he could have missed her. She was right by his side all along, how could he have been so blind?
