I think heian era sukuna would be upset if you didnât eat with him / not being on time to eat with him. for years heâs been used to dining alone but when you make an appearance in his life, eating dinner with you is a way to show his quality time.
I think heâd huff and puff if you werenât on time to dinner and youâd learn to be punctual. when you have no appetite or donât feel like eating heâll eat for himself but for the next two days he will complain about you.
âyouâre tired? tch, thatâs because you did not dine yesterday.â
In which you jump out of a moving car to spite Boyfriend!Sukuna
ââbecause he was just making conversation!â
Sukuna scoffs, knuckles turning white as his grip tightens on the steering wheel. âBullshit. That guy wanted to fuck you.â
âOh my god. So what!â you yell. âItâs not like I was gonna fucking let him!â
âCoulda fooled me.â
Just like that, your angry face, which matches his, warps into one of calm decision. With speed he doesnât see coming, you unbuckle your seatbelt, push open the passenger door and jump out of the moving car into the dead of night.
The car screeches to a halt not even a second later.Â
Youâre pushing yourself up and testing the soreness in your ankle when a car door slams shut and Sukuna comes marching over to you. âYou crazy, fucking bitch!â he snaps. Sukuna grabs your face, growling when you try to pull away. He inspects every inch of you, brows furrowed, and piercings glinting under the streetlights. âWhat the fuck is wrong with you!â
âI got a bitch ass boyfriend, thatâs whatâs wrong with me,â you grumble.
He ignores that. âYou break anything? Wrist? Ankle? Dislocated your shoulder?â You shake your head. âWell, thatâs a fucking shame.â Though as he says that, he canât quite hide the tremors in his hands. Quieter now, he mutters with a tight frown, âScratched your pretty face up. Fuck. Lost your one redeeming quality.â
âOkay, so Iâm gonna walk home,â you say, deadpan. âIâll see you around, asshole.âÂ
Sukuna runs a hand through his hair with a frustrated noise. Then he smacks his lips against yours before you can actually start walking away (not that heâd let you get very far). âAlright, alright. You fucking win. Congrats. Christ. Get back in the car â weâre going to the hospital to get you checked out. Fucking dumbass.â
A hospital visit later, youâre in bed with him, cuddled up like nothing happened. Itâs how arguments with him tend to go; neither of you really hold grudges against each other. Not when youâve fucked any grievances out after. The last mention of todayâs incident, however, comes in his sleepy mumble against the top of your head: âpush me out instead.â
âHmm?â
Sukunaâs hold around your body tightens, threatening to suffocate you with his hard chest. âDonât jump out of the car. Itâs stupid. Your bodyâs weak. Skin bruises easily. Cuts easily too. Just kick me out instead. I deserve it, I know... bonus points if it's into oncoming traffic.â
you were in nothing but your underwear and a sports bra. every window in your house was wide open, every fan you could find was running, although there was no point seeing that all they did was push in more warm air.
youâve been tossing and turning in bed for the past three hours. the darkness of the night meant absolutely nothing temperature wise, you were still scorching up. sweat clung to every inch of your body, as well as another, larger, heavier, and hotter body.
âryo get OFFâ
âmmmâ his sleepy whines vibrated against your neck. how the hell he even managed to fall asleep in this heat, let alone the added body heat that was living between the two of you.
this heat was already irritating you, with sukunas added heat you could feel yourself going ballistic.
âRyo i swear to god.â you tried pushing down on his shoulders, but it was no use. pushing and shoving did absolutely nothing, his grip on you was steady, even in his sleepy state. this was it. you were going to die of heatstroke, under your massive boulder of a boyfriend.
âmâstop pushinâ me woman.â
âryomen. it is too fucking hot for your fatass to be on top of me like this.â silence rang out for a few moments, only to then be cut by sukunas snores.
there was no way you were ever gonna be able to sleep like this, so you had to find another way.
âSukuna move yer ass I needa piss.â he groaned, but still rolled off of you. finally. it was like breathing for the first time.
you stood up from the bed and crept out of the bedroom, making sure to close the door, and plopping on the living room couch. it wasnât much different from the heat from your bed, yet the slight temperature difference provided you a nice moment of relief.
until it was ruined approximately ten minutes later, by a big fat, scorching hot, log plopping on top of you.
âSukuna.â
âfuckinâ liar.â
âSukuna get off of me Iâm so serious.â your eyes were near tears at this point, the heat only bringing out your frustrations even more.
âalright alright calm down woman, and go get dressed.â your big lug of a man sat up and leaned back into the couch.
âwhat? why?â
âI got us a hotel room.â
âRyo-â
âyes thereâs air conditioning. now hurry, cus I ainât sleeping without holdinâ on to my woman.â

sigma insists on planning the entire picnic himself.
youâre not even allowed to âhelp,â according to him, which is why youâre currently watching him carefully lay out a blanket beneath a tree, adjusting it three different times until itâs perfectly aligned. every small detail seems to matter to him in a way thatâs almost endearing, like the placement of the blanket is just as important as the moment itself.
âitâs just a blanket,â you say softly, tilting your head.
sigma pauses mid-adjustment, looking up at you like youâve said something profoundly incorrect.
âit has to be comfortable,â he replies seriously.
you smile a little. âit is comfortable.â
he hesitates, then nods slowly, as if accepting that this might be a possibility he hadnât considered. still, he smooths out one last corner before finally sitting down beside you, a little stiff at first like heâs not fully sure what to do with himself now that everything is set.
for a moment, neither of you speak. the wind moves gently through the grass, and sunlight filters through the leaves above, scattering warm patterns across the blanket. somewhere in the distance, thereâs the faint sound of water, soft and steady, like the world is breathing quietly around you.
sigma opens the picnic basket carefully, almost like heâs worried something might break. inside are neatly packed sandwiches, sliced fruit arranged with precision, and small desserts that look almost too pretty to eat.
you blink at it. âyou made all of this?â
ââŠyes,â he says, suddenly a little quieter. âi wasnât sure what you liked, so i made a bit of everything.â
you stare at him for a moment longer than intended, then let out a soft laugh. âthatâs kind of insane.â
he stiffens slightly, expression faltering.
âin a good way,â you add quickly.
he relaxes instantly, shoulders dropping as he exhales. âoh.â
you take a sandwich and try it, and sigma watches you closely like heâs waiting for some kind of judgment. you chew thoughtfully, then nod.
âitâs really good.â
his eyes widen just a little. âreally?â
âreally,â you confirm.
and something in his face softens immediately, like he doesnât quite know what to do with praise that isnât tied to performance or expectation. it lingers on him in a way that feels quiet and fragile.
you eat slowly together after that, sharing food from the basket while the afternoon stretches on. sigma stays a little rigid at first, sitting upright like heâs still worried about doing something wrong, but gradually he begins to relax. the space between you shrinks without either of you noticing.
eventually, his shoulder lightly touches yours.
and then stays there.
âdo you like this?â he asks after a while, voice low and careful.
you glance at him. âlike what?â
âthis⊠date,â he says, like the word itself feels uncertain.
you turn toward him a little more fully. his expression is gentle but searching, like heâs waiting for an answer that could change everything. so you take his hand without hesitation.
âyeah,â you say simply. âi do.â
sigma blinks once, then again, like heâs processing something he didnât expect to hear.
ââŠoh.â
you squeeze his hand lightly. âdid you think i wouldnât?â
he hesitates. âi thought⊠maybe it wouldnât be enough.â
you shift closer so you can face him properly. âsigma, this is perfect.â
he goes quiet again, the wind brushing through the grass around you as his fingers tighten slightly around yours. for a moment, he just looks at you like heâs trying to memorize the fact that youâre here.
ââŠiâm glad,â he murmurs. âiâm really glad itâs you.â
you smile at him softly, and sigma finally looks like he isnât carrying the weight of anything else for once. just this moment. just you.
later, you both lie back on the blanket watching the sky turn warm with late afternoon light. sigmaâs hand never lets go of yours, even when you tease him gently for staring.
he flushes immediately. âiâm not staring- i was just-â
you laugh softly, turning your head toward him, and he stops mid-sentence because youâre already smiling at him like that.
ââŠyouâre very pretty,â he blurts out.
you blink, then laugh again. âyou canât just say things like that out of nowhere.â
âwhy not?â
âbecause it makes you go red.â
he looks away quickly, flustered. âthatâs not-â
you lean in and press a quick kiss to his cheek before he can finish.
sigma freezes completely, like his entire system has stopped working. the wind continues to move through the grass, the sky continues to shift into gold, and sigma quietly realizes that this picnic might permanently ruin him in the best possible way.

It was your first day interning as a makeup artist at the set of together with Maman.
The handsome, ever-smiling co-host who looks like he's stepped straight out of a prince charming audition was introduced to you on the same day.
In the afternoon , you were sent to freshen up daga Iketeru's face after a sweaty dance number.
"You have a little shine on your forehead."
you said, leaning in with a powder puff.
"I'll just dab you real quick."
His smile twitches. Then a low chuckle rumbles in his chest. It grows into a full, laugh, his shoulders shaking.
"Dab me real quick, please don't say things like that."
"I...no, I mean literally!"
It became a daily occurrence.
"Your microphone is slipping."
Giggles.
"Your costume zipper is stuck."
Wheezing.
"You should probably keep your legs closed while they're adjusting the camera."
At that point he nearly passed out from laughter.
Meanwhile, you just stood there holding a powder brush.
"Why are you like this?"
"I don't know! It's funny!"
"It isn't."
"It is!"
"It really isn't."
The weeks fly. Your internship was coming to an end . On your last day, the cast throws you a small farewell party with cake and a card signed by everyone.
Iketeru writes a single sentence: Thank you for being the brightest part of my days.
You read it three times, heart fluttering.
After the party, he offers to walk you to the station. You walk side by side.
"Are you okay?"
He stops walking. You stop too.
He turns, and the look in his eyes shatters your heart.
"Please don't go."
His voice cracks.
Before you can respond, he steps forward and wraps his arms around you, pulling you into a desperate embrace. He buries his face in your hair.
"You're the sun of my life, every morning on that stupid set, the only thing I look forward to is you."
You wrap your arms around him, holding tight.
He pulls back just enough to look at you. His hands come up and cup your cheeks. His thumbs trace your cheekbones. He tilts your face up, and under the streetlamp's glow, his expression is the most sincere you've ever seen.
"You make me want to be better."
A tear slips down your cheek. He catches it with his thumb, brushing it away.
"Please, stay in my life. Stay with me."
"Iketeru- san..."
"I love you. Madly. From the first time you said you'd 'dab me real quick.'"
You kiss him then. His arms tighten, pulling you flush against him.
When you finally break apart, breathless, he presses kisses to your forehead, your nose, both your eyelids, giggling softly against your skin.
"I've wanted to do that for so long."
He pulls back, and then the giggle returns low at first, then full and bright with his shoulders shaking.
if i have a lover in the future and i die i want them to die with or right after me or atleast go insane and mourn me forever i dont want them dating someone new after me i don't care if its selfish im allowed to be selfish and jealous over one person

"do we know each other spider-man?" you stare flatly at the spider hero standing right before you.
he'd just broken through your apartment window, yelling about how he needed to 'save you' and how you were 'in danger'. he flew you all the way to a building rooftop, where you're now interrogating him.
"uhh... what? no..." he sounded as stupid as he looked right now.
"right.." you say, walking closer to him. "so why do you keep saving me? the time at the convenience store, the time at the laundromat, and that time when i was in a completely abandoned warehouse in brooklyn?"
you poke at his chiseled chest.
"so tell me, spider-man, do we know each other?"
"l-look, i'm spider-man! it's my job to save people!" he huffed.
"so i'm not anyone special to you?" you raise an eyebrow.
"uhhh no?" he says, unable to hide the hesitancy.
"you can trick the whole of new york but you can't trick me, spider-man." you smirk. "or should i say... yuji?"
yuji's heart dropped. damn, you knew.
"um... who's yuji?" he looks around, acting dumbfounded.
you sigh.
"yuji, i know it's you, idiot."
"umm... sorry ma'am but i don't know who you're talking about." he rubs the back of his head.
you groan, putting your hands on your hips.
"give up the act, yuji!"
"okay fine..." yuji folds. of course he does. "how'd you know it was me?"
"you've saved me too many times, and you act the same and... and i just know, yuji!" you grumble. "did you really think i wouldn't find out?"
"well- i don't know! i thought i wasn't being obvious." he pouts under the mask.
"you can never hide from me, yuji itadori." you cup his face.
you slowly pull up the bottom of his mask, revealing his lips.
"you busted your lip?" you frown, concern washing over your face.
"i'm fine..." he sighs before smirking at you. "actually... i'll be fine once i get a kiss from my beautiful girlfriend."
you grumble before ultimately giving him a big kiss.
mwah!
"does spider-man feel better now?" you smile, pulling back.
"uh i think spider-man needs a few more kisses to make him feel better." yuji says, pulling you back in.
"uh hold on." you put your finger on his lips. "didn't you say i was 'in danger'? what happened to that?"
"oh. right." he quickly grabs a hold of your waist. "hold on tight!" he leaps off the rooftop, smirking as he hears your screams.
your boyfriend, yuji itadori is the spider-man.
ââââàšà§ââââ
author's note! i watched spiderman bnd today so you KNOW i had to write spider yuji... i'm in love with him.

Uramichi never thought his apartment could feel alive.
But now it's different.
Thereâs a mug you insisted on buying sitting crookedly on the shelf because âit looks happier that way.â A blanket draped over the couch that somehow always smells like your shampoo. Little things hair ties, notes, random decorations tucked into corners.
Every part of his home reminds him that someone else exists here. Someone warm. Someone soft
He doesnât say it out loud, heâs not good at that but he notices everything.
Like how you always kiss him goodbye before leaving or how you wrinkle your nose every time you catch him smoking.
Again?â youâd say, already stepping closer.
Heâd sigh, already expecting a lecture but instead, youâd take the cigarette from his hand, put it out, and then kiss him .
Now, he finds himself reaching for cigarettes less.
He falls asleep with his arm around you, his hand always finds you in the dark, pulling you just a little closer, like confirming youâre still there.
Sometimes he buries his face into your shoulder. Sometimes he just rests his forehead against your back.
Uramichi never thought happiness would look like this.
But now that itâs here he doesnât want to go back.

Calm after the storm with Dazai.
Dazaiâs apartment is warm. Full of everything youâd need to escape from the cold outside air of wintery Yokohama, and after a long day of work thereâs no better way to escape from your responsibilities than to unwind with your sweetheart Dazai.
Along with the sound of the pot simmering creeps in the laughs of some random reality show playing on the TV with hosts that overreact to everything, put on to act as white noise. Though, neither of you could really care about what was on in the background when you had each otherâs company.
Dazai meets you out the shower, dressed down in a way only you get to see, wrapping his arms around your torso as you plate up some curry for the two of you. He laughs hard enough that you can feel his warm chest vibrating against your back when you warn him heâll be getting an elbow to the face if he doesnât back up while you're spooning up dinner from the pot, ladle in hand. Nevertheless, he tightens his hold, the tips of his fingers curling in on your stomach through the fabric of your t-shirtâand donât think he misses the shiver that runs down your spine at it, or the momentary pause in your breath, a sly smile gracing his features behind you.
âYou know Iâd gladly take a hit from you,â he hums, grinning, burying his face into your shoulder, soft lips pressing kisses to the exposed skin there.
âYouâre so strange,â you mumble, shaking your head fondly as you put down the plates and spin around in his arms.
âBut never boringâŠâ he says back in response, his tone almost melodic.
Dazai smiles. You see it all the time but thereâs something different about it when youâre alone. Something warmer, something more genuine behind it.Â
âHi, beautiful.â He says softly, dipping down to touch noses with you.
âHi, âsamuâŠâ you mumble back, lips pursed in gentle amusement as your eyes find his.
ââââ
âAtsushi let me braid his bang today. Yâknow, the long one,â you giggle.
The tips of your toes are touching his knee while the two of you eat on the couch, a gentle intimacy held in such a small point of contact as you talk about your days and what happened during your time apart.
âI figured! Sânot like you could manage a braid with any other partâŠâ he replies teasingly.
âI was being descriptive!â You huff, your exasperated tone eliciting a laugh from him.
âYou knowâŠâ he starts after, taking a sip of water in between to clear his throat, Adamâs apple bobbing as he swallows. âI wanna take you to this place I used to go to,âÂ
âYeah?â âHow many places are left? âSeems like you used to go everywhere around here,â you giggle.
âSo, so, so many.â
ââGod, retirementâs not gonna be a break, is it?â âYouâre still gonna drag me around when weâre all old and gray, huh?â You muffle out through a spoonful of rice, still grinning.
âOf course I will! Are you complaining?" He asks like heâs interrogating you, eyes ticking over your face in anticipation over your answer.
Your head shakes side to side in amusement before raising to lock eyes with him, and when he meets your gaze it feels like every worry he could ever have could never match up to the reassurance you afford him with just a look.
âNo. No, I am not.â You smile at him. âActually,â you continue, placing down your plate on the coffee table. The contact of it makes a soft clink that echoes throughout his otherwise quiet apartment.Â
âDo you promise it?â You ask, extending a pinky.
For a second, the juvenile nature of it catches him off guard. He blinks a few timesâthinks that if you were anyone else heâd have probably thought it to be a silly, go along with it just for fun, but thereâs something about your tone, the softness of your eyes, the quiet of his apartment, how your pinky waits for his like it matters, and he gets why you reached a hand out instead of only using words.
In fact, he thinks he understands why children do it even more than he ever thought about as a child when he wraps his pinky around yours, digits locking together to make something real and concrete, something that would be a foolâs errand to break.
âObviously, I will.â âEven when weâre old and gray.â
ââââ
As the night draws to a close, you find yourself wrapped up in each otherâs arms, typical yet never tiring. Dirty dishes rest on the coffee table in front of the couch, the previous TV program replaced by an old, late night drama.
âWhat a great dinner!â Dazai hums contentedly, head above yours as he spoons you from behind. âCourtesy of my love, of course.â
âYouâre such a flatterer!â You huff, swatting at his arm gently.
âYou knew that when you got with meâŠâ âBut that doesnât matterâbecause when it comes to youâŠevery word is true.â
âYeah, yeah.â
âWhat? âDonât believe me?â He teases.
ââGuess Iâll have to spend the rest of our lives proving it then,â ââŠPlenty of time.â He adds after, soft like he still canât believe himself that within the span of a few years heâs suddenly become so settled with the idea of staying alive after an entire lifetime before feeling the exact opposite.
It was slow, sure. A gradual evolution that took a lot of trust and time spent alone with his thoughts but it happened. Every kiss, every smile from you or a well known colleague, every office celebration, every holiday watching you wish for another memory to create with him like wanting his presence was as natural as breathing turns out to make a man want to stick around just another day to see what happens. Every day itâs been that, until those days become months, and suddenly, Dazaiâs lived another year.
âYouâre incredible. You know that?â He whispers.
âWhat? Just âcause of my cooking? Seems like too much praise for curry,â you reply, oblivious to the web of thoughts in his head. Responding like you didnât hold one of the biggest keys to his life, letting him cuddle you when he feels like he should be thanking you for your mere existence.
âYou donât get it, do you?â He says, low and gravely by your ear. It catches your attention. You tilt your head back just slightly to meet his face and then suddenly heâs on you. Puffy lips, swollen from the spicy curry collide with yours in a desperately messy kiss as Dazai maneuvers himself up to rest on one of the couchâs arms, pulling you with him to lay on his chest.
Pants fill the living room when you separate for air, and he laughs when he sees the looks of confusion on your face.
âWhereâd that come from?â You ask breathily.
âMade me realize I need to show you how much I fucking worship you.â
Itâs only minutes before his hand is down your pants, the other arm wrapped around your middle as he clutches you to his chest, ensuring you wonât squirm too far while his long fingers explore deep inside you, pushing in and out of your wet hole while his thumb presses down on your clit.Â
âArenât you just a darlingâŠ?â He coos as you cry out his name, gasping out as his fingers scissor inside of you.
ââSamuâŠoh..shit..!â you whimper, legs twitching as he goes back to fucking you on his hand.
âGod, I love you. Doinâ so good for me,â
A wicked grin plasters his face when he notices you holding back, bottom lip jutted out in a pout as you bit the inner skin, his free hand moving to tug gently at it to release.
ââGonna let me hear those pretty moans? âGonna let me listen to how good these fingers are makinâ you feel?â He asks, voice pleading like he isnât completely in charge.
âFuck! âSamu!â You cry when he finds that one spot inside of you, the tips of his fingers repeatedly rubbing up against it. The pleasure makes you thrash, your hips tilting up so he can get deeper, as if you werenât full enough. Your nails leave crescent marks on his forearm as your grip tightens there, trying to get a bearing on anything at all.
âOh? Whatâs this? Right here?â He hums, placing more pressure, fingers hitting at it harder.
âNeedy slut for my fingers, yeah? âCanât get yourself off like thisâŠmhmâŠI know..â
âN-noâŠI canâtâŠmmmphhh..hah!! D-doesnât feel as goodâŠnnghh..not as full..!!â
The sight of you almost has him losing focus. A woman so normally composed now finger fucked out of her mind. Your mouth hangs slightly ajar and your eyes are half-lidded, your legs move uncontrollably, and your pussy flutters around his fingers like itâs talking to him. Telling him that youâre close.
âFuck..â he grits out under his breath.
âYeah, yeah, good girl.â Dazai whispers, breath hot on your temple as he eggs you on. âCum. Cum all over my fingers.â
âNghhâŠfuck!â A moan rips from your throat as you finally gush, wet walls fluttering around his unrelenting fingers while he talks you through your orgasm.
âYeahâŠgood job, baby.â âSo proud of you.â He purrs, leaving his fingers inside while he watches your chest heave, taking in big breaths as you come down from your high, sweaty and tired after it all.
âMhmâŠâ he hums in affirmation to the way your body sinks down against his, at the fact heâs gotten you this way, content in his arms while he keeps you plugged up in the meantime.

the contrast is his favorite game. out in the agency or on the streets, youâre the picture of unbothered eleganceâdry responses, lazy shrugs, a half lidded gaze that says youâve seen it all, and zero reaction when he drapes himself over your desk at the agency.
most people assume youâre just another detached genius who tolerates him. only dazai knows itâs an act. he finds it endlessly entertaining that the same person who shrugs off his antics all day folds so completely for him at night. in bed, the switch is instant and clean. the second the door closes and clothes start coming off, that cool indifference melts, and you let him take control without hesitation
you were leaning over your desk in the agency office, hands on the table, eyes half lidded like none of it mattered. dazai had been hovering near you for the better part of an hour, tossing paperclips into a mug and missing most of them on purpose, he had been watching you for a whileâyou could feel it. the weight of those dark eyes tracing the line of your spine through your shirt. the others had filtered out already. only the two of you left under the fluorescent lights, when dazaiâs voice drifted over from somewhere behind you, soft and lazy. the kind of tone that always meant trouble.
âhard at work as always,â he murmured, stepping closer until the warmth of him pressed lightly against your back. his fingers brushed the curve of your waist, just barely, a feather touch that made your skin prickle even as your face stayed carefully blank. âsuch dedication. it almost makes me feel guilty for slacking off.â
you didnât look up. your pen kept moving across the page in neat, even strokes. âif you felt guilty youâd actually help instead of hovering,â you said, voice flat, almost bored. the nonchalance sat easy on you, the same mask you wore every day around the others. it wasnât entirely a lie. you were just⊠like that. quiet, unreadable, the kind of person who answered teasing with deadpan silence or a single raised eyebrow.
dazai chuckled under his breath, the sound warm against the shell of your ear. he leaned in further, lips nearly brushing the sensitive spot just below it. âhovering is helping. iâm providing very attractive scenery.â his hand slid down your arm, fingers circling your wrist for a moment before drifting away again. âbesides, you look far too serious. someone should remind you how pretty you are when you frown like that.â
you turned a page. didnât react. the heat of him was right there, the faint scent of his cologne mixing with the paper and ink of the office, but your expression never shifted. âgo bother atsushi. or kunikida. anyone else.â
he hummed, amused, and finally stepped back. the loss of his warmth left a strange hollow feeling along your spine that you refused to acknowledge. for the rest of the afternoon he kept finding excuses to pass by your desk. a file left just out of reach so youâd have to stretch. a quiet comment about how the afternoon light caught in your hair. each time you answered with the same dry, unimpressed tone, never giving him the satisfaction of a real reaction. it was a game the two of you had perfected over months. he pushed. you stayed still. only the two of you knew how thin that stillness really was.
the walk home was the same as always. streetlights flickered on one by one. you talked about nothing importantâan old case, a book heâd abandoned halfway through, the way the river looked at dusk. you talked in short, flat sentences when you answered at all. he never pushed. just kept talking, voice easy, like he already knew what waited once the door closed behind you.
the bedroom door clicked shut behind you both. the lock turned. and something in the air shifted the second the outside world was sealed away.
dazaiâs coat hit the floor. your bag followed a moment later. you barely had time to set your own coat down before his hands were on your waist, turning you, pulling you in until your chest pressed flush against his. the mask cracked the instant his mouth found the side of your throat.
âthere you are,â he breathed against your skin, voice lower now, warmer. âi missed this version of you all day.â
a soft sound slipped out of you before you could stop it. your fingers curled into the front of his shirt, clinging. the careful distance you kept at the office dissolved like it had never existed. you tilted your head, giving him more room, already melting into the touch.
âyou were so cruel to me,â he murmured, his voice just a bit whiny while his lips trailed slow kisses up to the hinge of your jaw. âacting like you didnât want me near you. making me wait.â his hands slid under the hem of your shirt, palms warm against bare skin now, mapping the curve of your waist like he was reminding himself of every soft place. âtell me you missed me too.â
âi did,â you whispered, the words coming out gentle, a little breathless already. âi always do. even when youâre being impossible.â your voice stayed soft, the way it only ever sounded when it was just the two of you. no sharp edges, just open and wanting.
he carried you toward the bed without ever taking his mouth off you. the backs of your knees hit the mattress and you sank down, pulling him with you. dazai followed easily, settling between your thighs, weight braced on his forearms so he could look at you properly. his eyes were darker now, the playful glint replaced by something hungrier and far more focused.
you reached up, fingers tracing the line of his cheekbone, then sliding into his hair. âplease,â you murmured, already tilting your hips up against him. âdonât make me wait anymore.â
he kissed you then. slow at first, deep, the kind of kiss that felt like sinking. your mouth opened under his without hesitation, a quiet moan vibrating between you when his tongue brushed yours. the sound was soft, almost shy, but it kept coming every time he deepened the kiss and rolled his hips down just enough to let you feel how hard he already was. one hand sliding down to the button of your pants. he popped it open, zipper following, and you lifted your hips so he could strip the rest away. underwear went with them. when you were bare he stayed on his knees a moment longer, palms smoothing up your thighs, spreading them wider.
âlook at you,â he said, almost to himself. âall that indifference and youâre already this wet for me.â
you felt the heat rise in your face but didnât look away. he leaned in and kissed the inside of one thigh, then the other, moving higher with deliberate patience until his mouth finally settled over you. the first slow lick made your fingers tighten in the sheets. he took his time, tongue flat and thorough, learning every small shift of your hips, every quiet breath that turned into a soft, needy sound. when he sealed his lips around your clit and sucked gently you gasped, thighs trembling around his head.
he didnât rush. just kept lapping and suckling, steady and focused, one hand holding your hip down when you tried to rock up too hard. the other slid two fingers into you, pumping just right against that swollen bump inside, and the combination pulled a longer, sweeter sound from your throat. you were already close, body wound tight from the long day of pretending you didnât need this. he felt it and slowed, drawing it out until you were shaking, soft pleas falling from your lips without shame.
âplease,â you whispered, voice small.
he chuckled against you and pressed his fingers deeper, tongue working in tight circles until the pleasure broke clean and sharp. you came on his tongue with your head tipped back, mouth open, thighs locked around him while he worked you through it, your walls fluttering around his fingers in soft pulses, wet and warm while he licked you through the aftershocks until you were twitching and oversensitive.
only then did he rise, wiping his mouth with the back of one hand, eyes dark and fond. he shrugged the coat the rest of the way off, then the shirt, bandages still neat around his arms and neck. you watched him undress the rest of the way, quiet and open, legs still spread for him. when he climbed onto the bed you reached for him immediately, arms looping around his neck, pulling him down into another slow kiss that tasted of you this time.
he settled between your thighs, the hard length of him sliding against your wetness. you rolled your hips, seeking, and he groaned softly into your mouth. one hand braced beside your head. the other guided himself to your entrance. he pushed in slow, watching your face the whole time, letting you feel every inch until he was buried deep.
you exhaled against his lips, soft and quiet. âmissed this.â
âi know,â he said, and started to move. slow, deep rolls of his hips that dragged against every sensitive spot inside your gummy walls. each thrust pulled a soft, continuous stream of whimpers from your lips. quiet moans, broken little words, praise that tumbled out without filter.
âyes⊠just like that. slower⊠mm, right there...â
he moaned low in his chest and buried his face against your throat pressing wet and sloppy kisses on your hot skin, when you started to tighten around him again picked up a slightly firmer rhythm, one hand sliding under the back of your thigh to hook it higer. every thrust was measured and intimate, letting you feel the full length of him sliding in and out as your nails traced light patterns down his back. âyouâre so good like this bella,â he murmured. âso sweet for me. no more pretending.. yeah?â
you nodded, breath hitching, and he felt the second climax building in the way your pussy fluttered around him. he reached between you, two fingers pulling up your mound so you felt him slip even deeper, making your thighs shake. your walls started pulsing around him in tight, repetitive little waves, and he groaned, hips stuttering for a second before he forced himself to keep the pace.
âcum for me,â he whispered against your mouth. âlet me feel it.. fuck.."
you did. the orgasm rolled through you in a long, deep wave, stronger than the first. your back arched off the bed, a soft cry catching in your throat as your cunt clenched hard around him, milking him in rhythmic squeezes. slick squished out around where you were joined, warm and overwhelming, smearing against your lower tummy and his pelvisâmaking your toes curl and your fingers dig into his shoulders. he kept thrusting through it, shallower and sloppier, drawing the pulses out with wet squelches until you were trembling and gasping, oversensitive and still clinging to him.
only when the last aftershock had faded did he let himself go. he buried himself deep one last time and came with a low, rough sound against your neck, hips jerking as he spilled inside you in thick ropes. you felt the warmth of it, how his cock pulsed with each spurt, and it made another little whine slip out of you. he stayed inside, breathing hard, one hand stroking your hair back from your damp forehead while the other held your hip, keeping you close.
when he finally slipped free a slow trickle of his cum followed, and he watched it for a second, eyes dark and hazy, before settling onto his side and pulling you with him. you curled in without hesitation, leg hooked over his, face pressed to the bandages on his collarbone. his fingers traced slow patterns down your spine, still a little shaky from how hard heâd finished.
âbetter?â he asked, voice quiet.
you nodded against him before you kissed his cheek, voice soft and a little sleepy. âmhm.. y'feel amazing.. yeah..â
he pressed a kiss to the top of your head and held you tighter. the nonchalant act was gone for the night, left somewhere between the office and the front door. here, with the lights off and his heartbeat steady under your cheek, you didnât need it.
before yuuta left for africa, you remember him to be scrawny, about the same height as you, all elbows and knees. he would stutter when you caught his gaze for too long and your pinkies would hook when you walked home together, headphones shared, heads tilted close. behind the school building, youâd trade snacks and heâd blush when you brushed crumbs off of his shirt. sometimes youâd sit together on the curb, knees touching, as he let you doodle little shapes on his arm.
and you remember the kisses. quick, clumsy pecks that made you giggle. sometimes his eyes stayed open, as if to memorize your face. his fingers fumbled, shifting from your shoulders to your back again, unsure where to touch, but each kiss felt like a tiny discovery. a small, shared secret, leaving a lingering warmth on both your cheeks long after.
when he returned, you barely recognized him. you were surprised at how much had changed. you had to look up at him now; his shoulders were broader, his frame taller, and he moved with purpose. the nervous, fumbling gestures of before gone.
now, yuutaâs hands find your waist naturally. heâs less shy, more present, and he initiates contact without hesitation: brushes a strand of hair from your face, nudges you gently as you walk, leans closer when he laughs, adjusts your jacket without asking and lets his hand linger briefly on your lower back when guiding you.
and the awkward, clumsy pecks changed. his kisses are bolder, and heâs the one guiding you now. he chases your lips relentlessly, presses you against walls or the edge of tables, hands linger on your waist and lower back. each kiss lingers longer, heavier, more urgent than before, perhaps to make up for lost time. his hands roam along your body, leaving you breathless.
yuuta is more confident now. in himself, in what he wants from you. he knows he never wants the same distance between you two as there was when he was away. he wants you close, always close, and certain of the bond that ties you together. he isnât the same blushing boy anymore when heâs over you, pulling his shirt off âĄ

summary: when your boyfriend abandons you on the side of a mountain you find solace in the form of a pink-haired mountaineer who comes to your rescue
word count: 11k
content: 18+ mdni, smut, modern au, mountaineering/hiking, reader is dating naoya :(, abusive bf, misogyny, injury, fluff, hurt/comfort, friends to lovers, cheating (kind of? reader's relationship with naoya is essentially done), semi-public sex (in a tent), piv, fingering, soft!sukuna
a/n: thinking about this scenario was the only thing that got me through my own miserable mountain experience and food poisoning last week :(
Youâd joined the mountaineering club out of a desire to connect more with your boyfriend.Â
He was an experienced mountaineer - the type of person whoâd been climbing peaks with his family since he was a kid, and youâd thought heâd be happy to be able to go on those adventures with you. Youâd figured it could be one of those interests that you shared. Something you could do together.Â
Dismissal had been the emotion youâd been met with when you first told him youâd joined. It had been a scoff paired with an off-handed statement about how you werenât cut out for all that.Â
Maybe, if youâd had more sense, you wouldâve broken up with Naoya in that moment and saved yourself a whole lot of trouble. Instead, just like always, you made excuses for him. You figured he was just having a bad day - that you just needed to prove yourself to him and then heâd be happy to have you as a climbing buddy.Â
He was just concerned about your skill. That was all.Â
So youâd worked hard at the club - learned plenty of skills, did plenty of hours in the gym, made dozens of friends with the other club members to ensure you werenât dependent on Naoya to teach you everything.Â
You tried to ignore how uninterested your boyfriend seemed in your progress, tried to ignore the way heâd flirt with the other women at the club - you were sure heâd be so impressed with you on your first major outing to Mount Hotaka that heâd forget about everything else and be pleased with you for once.Â
That was all you wanted, for him to be proud of you outside of the offhanded thanks heâd give whenever youâd make him dinner.Â
Your first trip out to the mountain had several people in attendance. Beyond you and Naoya there were a handful of women from the club who youâd grown close with: Shoko, Utahime and Yuki, and then a few men. There were a couple of older guys you didnât know very well, and then a few in your age range who had been helping develop your skills - the most notable of that group being Sukuna, who had dedicated lots of time to teaching you knowledge that Naoya had brushed aside.Â
It had surprised you at first, that the hulking pink-haired man had any interest in helping you do anything. Others in the club had claimed that he tended to be aloof, harsh and generally unfriendly - and while he was harsh in his teachings, unfriendly was certainly not the word youâd use to describe him.Â
Heâd gone out of his way to help you, chasing away others like Satoru with the claim that they were âtoo stupid to teach you rightâ. Spending hours at your side, heâd taught you all you needed to know about equipment, rope skills and climbing. He wouldnât provide praise unless it was deserved, but once youâd finally started getting things right heâd always made sure you knew he was pleased with you.Â
It was praise you were desperately starved for, praise youâd love to receive from your boyfriend, and you were ashamed to admit that Sukunaâs simple compliments lingered in your mind for longer than they should have.
Youâd grown rather fond of him since joining the mountaineering club, even despite his somewhat prickly demeanour to everyone else, you felt he was someone you could rely on, someone who wouldnât call you stupid for asking him questions. Even if heâd sometimes tease you for getting upset or frustrated for not understanding something, heâd still take the time to help you understand.Â
Unlike Naoya, who would roll his eyes and once again point out how unfit you were for something as involved as mountain climbing.Â
The comparison between the two was something you found yourself making more and more often, eyes straying over to your pink-haired friend when he wasnât looking, your stomach flipping when heâd speak to you, or when heâd place a large hand on your shoulder in congratulations at a task done well.Â
You knew it was wrong, chastising yourself whenever the thought of Sukuna would stray into your mind late at night while Naoya was snoring away next to you. Not only did you have a boyfriend, but you were certain Sukuna didnât think of you in anything beyond a friendly manner anyway.
So you kept those feelings locked deep within your chest and tried to focus on why you were in the club in the first place - to prove to your boyfriend that youâd make a good partner for his mountain expeditions, to prove that you were worth more to him than being a glorified maid in his house.
The first few hours of the hike, starting in the early morning, had gone by fairly uneventfully. Your training had paid off and your legs felt good as you winded up through valleys and fields, trailing a little behind the group of boys, favouring a slightly slower pace and jovial conversation amongst the girls.Â
Despite Naoyaâs reluctance for you to join the club, you felt like it was where you were supposed to be. You loved being out in nature - taking in the fresh air and drinking from mountain streams, wandering along with like-minded people and encouraging each other along through the gruelling uphills.Â
It wasnât until late afternoon that things started to get more difficult, with the altitude creeping steadily up, and the group stumbling across snow fields that still hadnât melted in the late spring air. It was nothing you werenât prepared for, but with everyone feeling a great deal more tired than they had in the morning hours, the pace slowed considerably.Â
A group of the more experienced men ended up going on ahead at a quicker pace, saying theyâd get the next big section of uphill completed and scout out a good camping spot for the night, since the plan was to make a summit push in the early morning to watch the sunrise.Â
You didnât mind that so much - you didnât like the feeling of slowing them down and that arrangement meant that you could keep going at a comfortable pace without feeling stressed about it. The girls you were with were perfectly experienced in their own right, and Naoya had chosen to hang behind with you anyway rather than going on ahead.Â
That was a decision that youâd convinced yourself was on account of him wanting to keep an eye on you, but a part of you believed it was really because he didnât get along with any of the men at the club.Â
Or perhaps it was just so he could keep staring at Yukiâs ass like he had been for the entire hike up to that point.Â
The next couple of hours were difficult, and everyone grew more withdrawn under the effort of a constant uphill - facing switchback after switchback with no clarity on how far you had to go beneath a freshly settled blanket of fog lowering the visibility. Shoko had been struggling for a while, and after an extended rest on a rock decided that it was best if she turned back and camped somewhere lower in the valley.Â
Sheâd been having issues with her lungs and didnât think it was wise to keep going.Â
At her decision, Utahime also suggested that she wanted to go back, mentioning that she also didnât feel in the best physical condition, and Yuki insisted on going back with the two of them to make sure they got back down safely. Youâd considered joining them, but you were still feeling good both physically and mentally and were keen to continue upwards towards the peak.Â
Considering Naoyaâs experience, you were certain that the two of you would be fine even without the girls, so you waved them off and continued upwards into the mist, eager to reconnect with the other half of your group and get settled with Naoya in the tent for the night.Â
â
Sukuna had found a pretty good camping spot. He was pretty sure it was in a similar position to where heâd set up on his solo winter ascent a couple of years before - a location that should be downright comfy in the mild spring weather.Â
Assuming that weather stayed mild.Â
It was hard to tell through all the fog, but he was almost sure he could see dark clouds rolling high in the sky. He hoped he was wrong. There hadnât been a storm on the forecast, and if one was to roll in that could make for a very harrowing evening, especially for people like you whoâd had little experience of the mountains.Â
He hoped one bad night wouldnât be enough to put you off entirely.Â
âYuki just radioed.â Satoru called out to him. âShe, Shoko and Utahime are all going back down. The others are still coming I think.âÂ
Sukuna hummed in affirmation as he moved to set up his tent. He wished it couldâve just been you coming up, rather than you and your shithead boyfriend, but he supposed heâd rather you have a buddy in the mountains than be out there alone. If heâd had things his way, he wouldâve hung back with you for the whole duration of the hike, but he didnât need people casting suspicions on his actions.Â
Heâd already received some strange looks over his eagerness to teach you - the last thing he needed was the rumor mill in full operation.Â
Even if the rumor mill was right in this case.Â
He liked you. He really liked you.Â
Feelings that he needed to keep to himself, because your boyfriend was one jealous asshole, and he was almost confident that any sign of flirting on Sukunaâs part would have Naoya taking out his anger and jealousy on you, which was the last thing he wanted. He wasnât sure what you saw in that guy, but god, Sukuna wanted to bash his teeth in.Â
Heâd been watching it for months now - the depressing life you lived in which youâd excitedly bound over to Naoya to show him something youâd learned only for him to react with total disregard. Sukuna had watched the light in your eyes flicker and die each time, doing his best to control the rage boiling in his chest.Â
You deserved better than that fucker.Â
But he got the sense that you werenât able to see that.Â
Almost everyone had set up their tents, laughing and joking and tearing into provisions by the time Naoya appeared from the mist. A couple of hours had passed since the group first found the camping spot, and Satoru welcomed him enthusiastically as he stepped into the clearing. He looked surprisingly exhausted for a man who was supposed to be experienced.Â
Sukunaâs red eyes scanned the fog, waiting for you to appear behind the man. His chest squeezed when only silence followed, no sign of your presence in the mist.Â
âIs it only you?â Satoru asked, voicing the very question that was on the tip of Sukunaâs tongue.Â
âYeah, the girls went down,â Naoya responded nonchalantly, shrugging off his backpack. âIs there a good place for me to set up?â Satoruâs lips parted, as if to question the manâs statement, considering Yuki had relayed specific names, but he clearly thought better of it, nodding and pointing Naoya in the direction of a clear patch of dirt for him to pitch his tent.Â
Sukuna wasnât so happy to shrug it off.Â
âYuki only said she was going down with Utahime and Shoko,â he called out to Naoya. The man turned to look at him, irritation shining in his amber eyes. Sukuna was well aware that Naoya despised him just as much as he despised Naoya.Â
âThey all went. Think I donât know where my own girlfriend is?â Naoya snapped.Â
Sukuna stared him down for a moment before leaving him be, heading over to Satoru and asking for the radio. Speaking into it, he called out for Yuki, praying that they were still within a reasonable range to pick up his voice.Â
He was met with only silence, cursing under his breath at the realisation that they were probably all the way back in the valley by that point and likely impossible to reach. His crimson gaze fell to Naoya once more, watching him hum as he set up his tent without a care in the world.Â
Something in the pit of Sukunaâs stomach told him that there was something wrong. You hadnât gone back with Yuki. Youâd been so happy all day, so excited about your first major peak. Not only that, but youâd been in good condition - heâd been watching you whenever he could, heâd been proud at how well you were doing.Â
You wouldnât have turned back. And if you had, Yuki wouldâve listed your name when she was heading down. Yuki was no newcomer to the mountains - she was responsible and experienced and she always emphasised the importance of good communications. And if youâd have turned back any later, Naoya shouldâve gone with you - it's what any sensible person wouldâve done.Â
But he was here, and you werenât. And you hadnât gone with Yuki. So you were alone.Â
Sukunaâs first instinct was to bash Naoyaâs head in. He wanted to walk over there and silence that bastardâs humming with a well placed rock to the head. What kind of a man - an experienced mountaineer, no less - would abandon their inexperienced girlfriend on the side of a mountain?Â
It wasnât like Sukuna doubted your ability. Heâd taught you all you needed to know, but putting those things into practice alone, at altitude, and in adverse weather was a whole other thing.Â
Instead of doing anything about Naoya, he parked that issue temporarily and quickly moved to dismantle his own tent. He wasnât going to sit there and do nothing while your location was unaccounted for. Even if you had gone down shortly after Yuki, even if youâd made it back to the valley by yourself, he wasnât going to roll the dice on your life.Â
Heâd go back the way theyâd come and heâd walk until he found you - even if that happened to be safe and sound at the bottom of the mountain.Â
âWhatâre you doing?â Satoru asked, hovering as Sukuna put his stuff back into his pack. Naoya had stopped to watch, a sneer on his already ugly face.Â
âI donât think she went down with Yuki. I need to make sure the boyfriend of the year over there didnât leave her in some bad situation,â Sukuna explained.
âOh my god, sheâs fine.â Naoya snapped from across the campsite. âYuki just misspoke, she went down with them. Why is it your problem anyway? It's not like sheâs your girlfriend.âÂ
The defensive edge to the manâs voice told Sukuna all he needed to know, and he ignored the jabs in favour of packing up more quickly. He didnât want it to get too dark - if something bad had happened and you didnât have your headlamp on it would be impossible to find you at night.Â
Unfortunately, Naoya seemed to have no interest in letting up. âI mean seriously? Youâre actually doing this? I know you wanna fuck her but sheâs always been a loyal little thing - she ainât gonna put out for you because of this. I think sheâs realised that she isnât cut out for this type of shit - she went back down to safety with the rest of the girls and I think sheâll probably quit the club. She can get back to what sheâs good at.âÂ
Sukunaâs hands stilled as he zipped his bag shut, his expression calm as he finally looked at the man before him. There was malice in his expression and a clear, guilty desire to keep Sukuna from trekking back down the mountain path.Â
ââShe can get back to what sheâs good atâ?â Sukuna asked, drawing himself up to his full height. âAnd what would that be?âÂ
The smug grin Naoya shot him was sickening. âMaking me dinner.âÂ
Sukuna laughed, a deep unpleasant sound rumbling from his chest. âRight.â He took a step forward, towering over your boyfriend who he deeply hoped would be your ex-boyfriend after that expedition. Before Naoya could react, Sukuna grabbed him by the front of his raincoat. âListen. Iâm going back down that path. If I find her out there, abandoned and alone, be assured that Iâll beat you so badly that youâll never climb another mountain again. Do you understand me?âÂ
Fear flickered in Naoyaâs amber eyes, but he pushed it down quickly, replacing it with a scowl. âGet the fuck off me.âÂ
Sukuna let him go, revelling in the way he stumbled about off balance, barely keeping himself from careening onto the floor. If he was being honest with himself, the desire to enact justice on Naoya in that moment was tempting, but he could wait. Every moment he spent in that camp was another moment of peril for you.Â
And unlike Naoya, he wouldnât leave you to a night alone on a mountain.Â
â
You werenât sure when youâd lost Naoya.Â
Heâd been picking up the pace significantly while youâd been getting slower and slower, and despite calling out for him to wait for you to catch up, eventually he just disappeared off into the fog - the sound of his footsteps fading entirely.Â
It had left you at a loss, unsure as to whether you should keep going or turn back. You were certain that the summit camp probably wasnât too far off, but you had no real idea of how far that distance might actually be, and had a vague concern that you might take a wrong turn in the ever-thickening fog, leaving you stranded for the night. You and Naoya were sharing a tent which heâd been carrying, and subsequently ending up alone for the evening wasnât ideal for you.Â
The most youâd be able to do is wrap yourself in your sleeping bag and find a sheltered place to hunker down for the night.Â
But it shouldnât come to that.Â
Getting down to the valley would take too long, and you werenât sure where Yuki and the gang wouldâve settled anyway. Naoya had the radio. He had everything really, which meant that the only thing you could do was continue upwards and hope that you stumbled across the other half of your group.Â
It was a plan that was going okay until youâd carelessly stepped on a loose rock, sending you tumbling back down a hill of scree youâd spent the past half an hour climbing.Â
At first youâd thought only your morale was damaged, your mind exhausted at the prospect of having to get back up and reascend a slope youâd already climbed once. But as you struggled to get to your feet, you realised that it wasnât only your mind that had undergone damage.
A hot pain spread through your ankle as you tried to stand, sending you straight back down to the floor with a yelp. Panic instantly overcame you, the sudden realisation of where you were hitting you like a tonne of bricks. Naoya, your boyfriend, had abandoned you on the side of a mountain. Heâd left you in the fog, beneath the setting sun, without a tent and without a radio. And now you were injured.
If you didnât know better, you wouldâve said he was actively trying to kill you.Â
But what was more likely was that he was just proving the point heâd been trying to make all along - that you werenât cut out for the life of a mountaineer.Â
And considering your condition, could you really disagree with him?Â
Soft sobs overtook you, and you began to spiral. You werenât sure how long you sat there, shivering as the cold grew more intense, mumbling incoherently to yourself about how you shouldâve gone back down to the valley with Yuki.Â
Perhaps you never shouldâve tried facing the mountains in the first place.Â
Maybe Naoya was right.Â
They were thoughts that fled from your mind at the blessed sight of a headlamp cutting through the fog from above, footsteps crunching evenly on scree, picking up in speed the moment the light shone upon your sorry figure huddled on the ground.Â
âFuck, are you okay?â Sukunaâs voice had a tremor of relief shooting through you, and more tears swelled at the corners of your eyes. He was crouching down in front of you, expression laden with concern as he scanned your cowering form. One of his hands reached for your face, wiping away tears carefully while he waited for you to answer him.Â
âMy ankleâŠâ You mumbled. Everything was too overwhelming for you to articulate any further, your words already coming out all choked and shaky. Sukuna didnât need to hear any more, attention instantly shifting to your foot. His hands moved to prod gently at it, watching your face for a grimace which came quickly under his touch.Â
âDoes that hurt?âÂ
You nodded. He bit down on his lip and quickly moved to untie the lace of your boot. A soft whimper left your lips as he pulled it from your foot, but he was right to pay your reaction no mind since you were overcome with relief once your ankle was freed from those rigid confines pressing down too tightly upon it.Â
It had swollen up significantly in the time youâd been sitting there waiting for someone to come for you.Â
âRight. Iâll deal with the ankle soon but I want to get us to someplace better first before it gets fully dark.â It was only just occurring to you that the wind had started to pick up a little, your clothes ruffled by air rushing against you. It would be best to be in a less exposed place - Sukuna had taught you that exposure made all the difference when dealing with bad weather.
âThere was a plateau back down at the bottom of this slope,â you mumbled, remembering the slight respite youâd had from the seemingly neverending onslaught of uphill.
Sukuna gave you a proud smile and it made your heart flutter. âYeah, that would work. Iâm gonna carry you down there, if thatâs okay? I donât think you should try walking on that ankle until we give it a proper look.âÂ
You wanted to collapse into fresh tears at the suggestion. While your boyfriend, the person who was supposed to look after you, had abandoned you on the side of your first big mountain, Sukuna was here offering to carry you to safety. The feeling his offer was giving you had a risk of overwhelming you entirely, utterly grateful that he was the person whoâd come back to look for you.Â
Naively, you wondered if Naoya had sent him down to look for you. It was a weak hope, a desperate, delusional belief that your boyfriend wasnât as cruel as he truly was.Â
âYeah, thatâs okay,â you said, quietly. You tried to ignore how pleasant it felt when Sukuna crouched down to scoop you up into his arms. His touch felt warm against your body which had grown cold over the past few hours of inactivity. The arms holding you were strong and secure, building a feeling of safety knowing he was there with you.Â
Naoya wouldâve taken issue with it, but you wished youâd asked Sukuna to stick with you throughout the whole trip. Things wouldâve felt better if it was him you were relying on rather than your boyfriend. In his lessons heâd always emphasised the importance of matching your pace with a mountain buddy - always checking that they werenât far behind.Â
Rules that a supposedly experienced mountaineer like Naoya shouldâve been well aware of.Â
Sukuna strode down the rest of the hill with ease, keeping you tucked close against him in a princess carry. Considering that you had your pack still on your back you were surprised at how easy he made the whole thing look, because he wasnât exactly carrying a light load between you in his arms and his own bag on his back. But he didnât complain or demonstrate any signs of struggle.Â
Outside of the fact that he was largely silent until you reached your destination.Â
You didnât mind that. It wasnât like you were in the mood to talk either, your mind swimming with all kinds of things now that you were in safe hands. Naoya had left you behind to die. You couldâve died if no one had come back for you. Exposure couldâve gotten to you, or an animal, or some person with ill-intent prowling the mountainside.Â
Heâd left you helpless and defenceless.Â
And, as rain started to drip from the sky above, you realised that if Sukuna hadnât come for you, it wouldâve been an evening out in the storm, at altitude, with nothing but your rain jacket and sleeping bag to huddle within.Â
You couldâve died.Â
Sukuna found a well sheltered area and placed you down while he set up the tent. You were in awe at how quickly he got it done - the same actions wouldâve taken you three times the time it took his experienced hands to get it sorted. You were grateful for the speed, because it meant the two of you made it inside before the worst of the rain began to hammer down from the sky above.Â
âOkay. First the ankle. Then everything else.âÂ
You tilted your head a little at his statement, not quite sure what he meant by everything else, but you assumed he was referring more to your mental condition and questions around how youâd ended up in your terrible position in the first place. You hoped he wouldnât be mad at you for failing to make it up to the peak after how much time heâd spent teaching you things.Â
You thought maybe heâd chastise you for things like not having your own tent or radio, but Naoya had been insistent about carrying those items for you, assuring you that heâd stick at your side and claiming his actions were out of a desire to keep your pack as light as possible.Â
You were stupid to have believed him.
Sukuna knelt by your foot, removing your sock and inspecting the damage carefully. His fingers pressed delicately against the skin and you found yourself admiring his concentrated expression in the lamplight. âI donât think it's broken,â he said. âProbably just twisted.âÂ
Reaching into his first aid kit, he found a bandage which he wrapped around the problem area, before pulling out an ice pack and snapping to activate its effects. He placed the pack down on your ankle, earning a little hiss from you which pulled a small smile from his otherwise serious face.Â
Heâd been really serious since heâd found you, his expression all irritated and stormy.Â
Was he angry with you? Frustrated that heâd had to come back down the mountain to your aid? You didnât like the idea of being his burden.Â
âEndure the cold for a bit - itâll make you feel much better.â he said, placing a warm hand on your calf. Your breath hitched involuntarily at the contact and Sukuna quickly withdrew from you, a tinge of guilt flickering across his handsome face. He instantly busied himself before you could question it, moving onto the next stage of tending to your injury.
He fumbled about in his pack and withdrew some clothing, bundling it up into a small pile and wedging it beneath your foot to elevate it a little. Nothing he was doing was particularly revolutionary - on the contrary, his actions were all things heâd taught you to do in the event of an injury.Â
Youâd just been too panicked to do anything on that scree slope.Â
Perhaps he was mad at you for that too.Â
Sukuna laid out his sleeping mat next to you, his nose wrinkling at the revelation that you didnât have one because it was in Naoyaâs possession. He slid his mat beneath you, keen not to have you lying on the floor, before pulling out his sleeping bag and sitting on top of that for some amount of comfort.Â
âSo, what happened?â Sukuna asked. His voice was a little clipped, as if he was holding himself back from saying what he really wanted to say.Â
âI was rushing and lost my footing on some scree-â
âNo. I mean, why are you alone?âÂ
âOh.â You shrugged, taking a deep breath and avoiding his eyes. There was a sticky feeling building up in your throat, keeping your words down. If you said the truth aloud you were certain youâd burst into tears again. âI donât know,â you mumbled finally.Â
âYou donât know?â He echoed.Â
âIt just sort of happened. The girls went back down the mountain and Naoya kept going quicker and then we got separated somewhere in the fog. I imagine he was probably waiting somewhere up ahead for me but then I slipped.â You werenât sure why you were trying to defend your boyfriend. You werenât naive enough to truly believe heâd been waiting up ahead for you.Â
Heâd left you.Â
But the idea of airing out just how stupid you were to be in that relationship in the first place felt humiliating. You wanted to at least pretend that Naoya didnât leave you for dead - that you werenât the fool who had stayed for years with an abusive boyfriend when you shouldâve just left.Â
You didnât want Sukuna to think you were completely pathetic.Â
âNaoya arrived at the camp hours ago,â Sukuna said, his tone detached, as if he wanted to avoid projecting any of his own emotion onto you. âHe said youâd gone back down with the rest of the girls.âÂ
The horrified expression on your face mustâve said it all, because Sukunaâs impartiality quickly faded, rage burning within those crimson eyes. Naoya really had abandoned you. And not only that, heâd also attempted to sabotage any retrieval attempt that might be made for you. Heâd outright claimed you were safe when he knew no such thing.Â
It was a thought that made you sick, and once again the tears started to flow, dripping down your cheeks. Youâd spent years with that man, feeling like you were less than good enough. Youâd let him break you down, put up with his endless bullying and tormenting, all because heâd been sweet to you at the start.Â
Youâd always thought you werenât good enough, always thought that it was your fault he was so unpleasant with you.Â
Now it felt like your eyes were open for the first time.Â
Heâd left you on the side of a mountain. He couldnât care less about your wellbeing. He couldnât care less about you unless you were making him dinner.Â
And youâd put up with it.Â
You were a fool.Â
âI knew that fucker was lying,â Sukuna hissed. âYuki didnât say your name when she radioed in to say she was heading back. Sheâs always good with that sort of thing. Fuck, Iâm glad I came down to check, who knows what wouldâve happened if-âÂ
He cut himself off, faltering before he could finish the sentence. It was clear that he didnât want to scare or upset you further, not when youâd already reduced yourself to a puddle of tears. You didnât want to imagine what fate the night wouldâve brought if not for Sukuna arriving as your saviour.Â
Falling silent, he shuffled a little closer to you. Reaching out delicately he began to wipe away your tears with his thumb. The touch of his skin against yours felt pleasant, and you found your sobs faltering at the new found comfort he was providing. A deeply loyal part of you urged you to pull away, reminding you of your boyfriend. You immediately pushed the thought aside.Â
Naoya wasnât your boyfriend.Â
Not after what heâd done.Â
âDonât cry. Youâre okay. I found you and weâll make it through the night together. Iâm not going anywhere.â Sukunaâs words were soothing, and you found yourself nodding between sniffles, your tears gradually drying up. You hadnât realised you were shivering until Sukuna tentatively wrapped an arm around you, pulling you up and close to him.Â
The storm had worsened outside, and you huddled down in your jacket, letting yourself lean into Sukunaâs chest to keep the shivering at bay. If this was how you felt inside a tent with another human to warm you, you hated to think how you wouldâve felt still stuck all alone on the scree.Â
It didnât bear considering.Â
âYou should report that asshole to the police once we get down. Nothing will come of it because it's hard to prove intent, but this was an active attempt on your life. He had a duty of care he ignored, stripped you of shelter and then tried to prevent a rescue. I have half a mind to kill him myself.â Sukunaâs voice rumbled through his body.Â
No one had ever really stood up for you before. Naoya was always good at being charming when it mattered. Your parents and the rest of your family had always seen him as a good prospect - a polite and handsome man from a well off family. With your friends, youâd done the damage on your own, always defending him, manipulated by him to act like the perfect picture of an abused girlfriend.Â
âIâm so stupid,â you whispered.Â
âWhat?â Sukuna asked, pulling back ever so slightly so he could look at you properly. You hadnât spoken at all since the reveal, and your quiet words clearly caught him off guard.Â
âIâve wasted so much of my life with him. Spent so much time defending him like he was some good guy. I only joined this club to impress him and all he ever did was tell me how useless I was at stuff like this - at everything. Did you know that he spent most of this hike staring at Yukiâs ass? And yet, when Iâd tell him about how much stuff youâd taught me heâd get all mad about me talking to another guy and verbally berate me until I cried. And I just let it all happen. You must think Iâm an idiot.âÂ
Sukuna hesitated, searching for the right words. It made you smile in a twisted sort of way, because he was definitely trying to find something to say that wouldnât indirectly call you stupid - an impossibility considering the circumstances. Now that your eyes were open you could finally see how foolish youâd been.Â
You just wanted to go home. Forget mountaineering or anything else youâd tried in an attempt to bond with that asshole.
âI donât think youâre an idiot,â he said finally. âI think guys like that are very good at getting their way, and you happened to be his victim.â The words were uncannily gentle, and at a glance at Sukunaâs face you could tell he was out of his comfort zone, but trying his best. He tightened his grip on you as a sudden gust of wind battered the tent.Â
The touch had your heart fluttering, and you wondered how Sukuna felt about your current position. It was probably just a necessity in his eyes - a bid to warm up a tired and stressed woman, nothing more than that.Â
With your loyalty to Naoya stranded somewhere on the mountain never to be recovered, you found yourself wishing the contact was something more than that.Â
But considering your woefully pathetic attempt at summiting this relatively easy peak, you doubted Sukuna held you in high regard at all. His type was probably some strong, confident girl who already knew all her outdoor skills without Sukunaâs input. The type of woman he could rely on to partner with for dangerous and difficult peaks.Â
That wasnât you.Â
You werenât sure youâd step foot on a mountain again after this.Â
âMaybe you donât think Iâm an idiot for that, but you probably think I am for all this.â You gestured in the general direction of your foot, still humiliated at the thought of Sukuna having to rush down the mountain to your rescue, like you couldnât be left unsupervised for a single moment without finding yourself in need of rescue.Â
Much to your chagrin, Sukuna laughed. âAn idiot for getting injured? No, thatâs practically a rite of passage. You were doing great through most of the hike - I was keeping an eye on you before the group split in half. Weâll get you down the mountain and get your ankle sorted, and then you can try this peak again another time.âÂ
Sukunaâs optimism had butterflies swarming in your stomach, but years of insults and abuse werenât so easily displaced. You lowered your gaze, staring down at your hands in your lap. âI donât know. I just wonder if Naoya was right. Maybe Iâm not cut out for this.âÂ
Sukuna pulled a face, clearly displeased by that statement.Â
âDo you like being in the mountains?â He asked simply.Â
He made no statement on your skill, no attack on anything your boyfriend had told you. Asked nothing more than whether you liked being out in the fresh air, doing what youâd been doing before your ankle had been injured.Â
And you did.Â
You really did like it.Â
âYeah. I do.âÂ
âThen you are cut out for this. Enjoyment is literally the only requirement,â he said earnestly. âBesides, that guyâs full of shit. I taught you everything you needed to know and I have faith in your abilities. If you need to listen to someone elseâs opinion to determine your value, how about you consider mine instead of his.âÂ
A flush appeared across your cheeks. Those were the kind of compliments Sukuna would always pay you. Nothing particularly special or flowery, but deeply genuine in a way that had your whole body bursting with pride, pushing the rot of Naoyaâs insults from your veins and replacing it with Sukunaâs approval.Â
âWeâll come back here together in a few weeks, just the two of us, and weâll do this peak. I can promise you itâll be better. I wonât abandon you in the fog.â You believed him, nodding a little in agreement. Even in your fragile mental state that evening, you couldnât help the excited flip of your stomach at the thought of Sukuna wanting to do something alone with you.Â
The mountaineering club had been a means for you to learn your skills to climb alone with Naoya. You hadnât expected that it would leave you excited at the prospect of climbing with another man.Â
Still, you tried not to get ahead of yourself. Your little crush on Sukuna, which had been present for several months more than you were really willing to admit, seemed to have finally found the freedom to really take over your thoughts. Your heart was practically in your throat at your current proximity to him, a desire coursing through your whole body.Â
You needed to push it back down even with Naoya out of the picture, because you were certain Sukuna was just being friendly, just being a better person than Naoya was. You couldnât afford to let your mind run wild with fantasies.Â
At least, thatâs what youâd told yourself.Â
The two of you had sat in silence for a while after Sukunaâs offer of climbing alone together, still huddled together and listening to the wind and rain outside the tent. You found yourself calmed by the steady rhythm of Sukunaâs heartbeat, basking in the warmth of his body which took your mind off the cold compress burning at your ankle.Â
âDo you mind if we share the sleeping mat? It's okay if not, but it would be warmer for you and more comfy for me that way.â Considering that the two of you had been cuddling for a while, you didnât see the issue. Anything was fine in matters of survival and you were more than happy to remain close to Sukuna.Â
âYeah, sure. We can zip our sleeping bags together.âÂ
Sukunaâs lashes fluttered and you swore you could see a dusting of pink on his cheeks, but you were quick to disregard it. It had been a long and exhausting day, and you were likely just seeing what you wanted to see.Â
The cold compress had started to lose its effect, and Sukuna removed it from your ankle while the two of you shuffled about to get ready for bed. Your ankle was feeling much better after a period of rest and elevation, and you found you could move it again without excruciating pain. Getting back down the mountain might still be an issue, but it was one you could leave to figure out in the morning.Â
Zipping your sleeping bags together and settling down on the sleeping mat, Sukuna made space for you beside him. You had to half lay on him for you both to stay on the padding, but with how warm his body seemed to run, you really didnât mind. He wrapped his arm around you, nestling you close against him under the guise of conserving space - an action that had your whole body thrumming with electricity.Â
You couldnât remember the last time youâd felt that way. For months, maybe even years, the only thing youâd felt under Naoyaâs touch was mild dread. This was something nicer, something more exciting - a feeling you wanted to experience over and over again.Â
âWarm enough?â Sukuna asked, giving you a reassuring squeeze. The tent was relatively cool, the fabric being battered by the storm outside, all of which seemed distant as you lay there in Sukunaâs grip. It was a safe and warm place to be, one where you could take your mind off troubles and anxieties knowing he was there to keep anything and everything at bay.Â
Troubles which Naoya had actively brought upon your life, were effectively chased away by Sukuna.Â
How you wished youâd met the pink-haired man earlier in your life.Â
âWarm enough,â you echoed, your voice coming out muffled as you buried your face into his chest.Â
Again, the two of you fell into comfortable silence, listening to the whistling of wind and basking in the feeling of your bodies pressed close together. You were half asleep and almost convinced that Sukuna was already asleep, when his deep voice cut through the darkness and silence.Â
âI donât usually go on these things, you know,â he confessed quietly. âThis is my first one. Iâm only in the club because it gives you connections for exhibition funding and learning new skills. Usually I do mountains solo and usually I do stuff much harder than this.â He waved his hand in the direction of the tentâs exit.Â
A guilt blossomed in your gut at the speech, recalling similar words from your boyfriend when youâd brought up the trip. Heâd said that climbs in the Japanese Alps outside of wintertime were nothing special, and that the whole thing would likely be so easy that he could do it in his sleep. Heâd only agreed to go after youâd begged him, reminding him that you didnât have the experience he did.Â
âIâm only here because of you,â Sukuna continued. The guilt within you only grew sharper. Was Sukuna trying to imply that he was only present out of concern for your inexperience? Had you forced him along because he knew something like this would happen? Had he known heâd need to come to your rescue?
âSorry. I must be such a burden,â you mumbled quietly, burying your face in your sleeping bag.Â
Did Sukuna really want to commit to climbing alone with you knowing that you were so much less experienced than he was? Or was he just doing it because he felt bad for you? You were likely a pitiful sight with your messed up ankle and an abusive boyfriend who had abandoned you.Â
Sukuna blinked rapidly, astute enough to swiftly connect the dots. âWhat? No, thatâs not- I was trying to say something nice. I was saying I only came along because I enjoy spending time with you. I donât like these group things and I prefer to do harder stuff but Iâm here because youâre here, and I like you.âÂ
Your heart was pounding so hard you could hear it in your ears, completely drowning out the sound of any thoughts on how you were supposed to reply to that. You were too caught up on the word âlikeâ, on the way Sukuna shifted ever so slightly against you, pulling you more firmly against his body.Â
âWhat?â You asked, dumbly.Â
âI like you,â he repeated. âI think youâre so cute and I love how happy you get whenever you learn something new and Iâm so fucking exhausted of watching your boyfriend ignore you and take you for granted when Iâd cherish you.âÂ
Again, your stomach flipped, your ears growing warm.Â
âAnd when that fucker showed up at the top of the mountain without you, I wanted to kill him. When I found you all cold and alone on the slope I just- fuck. I want to keep you safe. I want to be the person who looks out for you, I want to take care of you in a way that guy seems unwilling to. He has no idea what he has- had, while I understand exactly what youâre worth. I want to take you to the mountains at my side because unlike him, Iâd be thrilled to have you as my hiking partner.âÂ
Before you knew what was happening, you were crying again, wetting his clothes immediately with your tears. Your shoulders were shuddering and you could feel Sukunaâs heartrate picking up. It seemed like he was starting to panic - concerned that you were upset by his words when the reality was the total opposite.Â
Youâd never heard something so romantic from Naoya and you never would. To have someone speak such beautiful words to you felt surreal and your body had no idea how to react beyond sobbing from being so overwhelmed with love and affection.Â
âSorry,â Sukuna said quickly. âI know it's been a long day, now probably wasnât the time to say anything. You donât have to respond-â
He faltered as you peered up at him, your face wet with tears. He usually looked so confident, and even then there was still some atmosphere of certainty about him, but he couldnât fully hide the glimmer of anxiety in his lovely red eyes. There was a fear of rejection buried within him, a fate that he seemed almost certain he was going to face.Â
If only he could step into your shoes for a moment and feel all the emotion rushing over you at his confession
You didnât say anything, you couldnât think of anything that would suffice as a response to his outpouring of desire. Instead you tilted your face upwards, lips parting softly in a clear signal - one that Sukuna caught onto immediately. He closed the gap swiftly, lips slotting perfectly against yours with a warmth youâd never experienced before.Â
Naoyaâs kiss had always been domineering - a wet and unpleasant experience. Sukunaâs kiss was gentle and exploratory. His lips took the time to appreciate yours, to linger on that lovely shared warmth and soak in the feeling of being connected so intimately for the first time.Â
His tongue ran along your lips carefully, requesting for you to open your mouth. You complied easily, letting him hold you ever closer as his tongue pressed into yours, deepening the kiss in a way that felt so natural despite the fact that youâd never kissed each other before.Â
A rumble of thunder overhead had the two of you parting for a second, and you found your shivering renewed as a particularly cold wind blew through the tent. Sukunaâs red eyes went to the entryway, the space illuminating for a second as another flash of lightning ripped through the sky above. His hands rubbed your back soothingly at a louder rumble overhead.Â
âIâm so glad I came down to find you,â he whispered.Â
âThank you for coming to find me,â you mumbled, eyes fixed on his handsome face, your mind still struggling to catch up to all that had transpired in the past few minutes. Thoughts of Naoya and all the suffering heâd put you through seemed distant in the intimacy of that tent. âI feel so lucky. Injured ankle aside.â You giggled softly, heart jumping at the way Sukuna grinned back at you, pressing another soft kiss to your lips.Â
There was a gratefulness to his expression, a soft affection in his gaze which made you feel seen and special in a way youâd never felt with Naoya. It had you sinking deep into another kiss, your lips locked against his in a deeply intoxicating manner. All the stress and the anxiety of the day seemed to wash away beneath his grip.Â
Even with the storm raging outside, you felt safe and warm with him there beside you.
You shouldâve known about his feelings for you - shouldâve understood the moment Yuki had made a comment about how Sukuna never usually spoke to anyone. Heâd spent so much time on you, being so gentle in his teachings, making sure you knew what you were doing, making sure you were praised.Â
Heâd liked you from the start and youâd been too blind to see it.Â
Too beaten down by your own experiences in relationships to believe that any affection directed towards you would be legitimate.Â
You wished you couldâve puzzled it out sooner. You wished you couldâve noticed the soft look that always sparkled in Sukunaâs eyes whenever he looked at you. You wished youâd dumped Naoya several years ago, because it shouldnât have taken an abandonment on the side of the mountain for you to realise how truly awful your ex-boyfriend was.Â
But what was done was done. Sukunaâs hands were on you now, and that was all that mattered. Youâd made it in the end, even if it had taken you a little longer to get there than you wouldâve ideally liked.Â
âYouâre so pretty,â he whispered as the two of you broke apart for breath, red eyes scanning your face like he was committing your features to memory. âHow Naoya could be so stupid, I have no idea.âÂ
âHeâs not a smart man.âÂ
âNo. He really isnât.â Sukuna agreed. âBut his loss is my gain.âÂ
You hummed, leaning against Sukunaâs chest once more, listening to his heartbeat beneath you. Despite the excitement, you were suddenly aware of how tired you were, and how much the cold was still seeping in through your clothes and down into your bones. Altitude was no joke, and the pleasant spring warmth was nowhere to be found on the mountainside that evening.Â
âAre you still cold? Youâre shivering.â It wasnât possible for Sukuna to physically pull you closer to him than you already were, but he gave it an attempt all the same, practically crushing you in his grip.Â
âA little, yeah.âÂ
âShit. Once sec.â Moving away from you for a moment, he reached out of the sleeping bag and rummaged about in his bag, withdrawing his down jacket and draping it around your shoulders like an additional blanket. You were grateful for the added warmth, coccooned in between that and Sukunaâs warm body.Â
For a few moments you lay there, your shivering finally subsiding, only for all the hairs on your neck to raise at the feeling of Sukunaâs voice vibrating against the top of your head. âThere is another way I could keep you warm.âÂ
His tone was suggestive and perhaps a little amused. The comment had heat billowing throughout your body, your gut tightening at the suggestion of something youâd never allowed yourself to think of before. Sukuna was very attractive, and sometimes your mind had drifted in his direction when your hand had been caught between your thighs. But youâd always scolded yourself for it, had always driven away the idea of picturing a man you actually knew when you had a boyfriend.Â
Now the suggestion was right there on the table as something real and tangible, and your mind was conjuring all sorts of exciting imagery.Â
âO-oh. Yeah, that could be nice,â you said with a sudden rush of confidence. It was Sukunaâs turn to falter, red eyes suddenly wide with surprise, as if youâd called some bluff without even realising it.Â
âI donât have a condom,â he murmured, pushing you back ever so slightly so he could look properly at your face. âSorry, I wasnât actually expectingâŠthis.âÂ
âI am on the pill,â you offered a little bashfully, embarrassed to have reacted so enthusiastically to what you were now realising was a joke. âBut we can wait if youâd rather use a-âÂ
âNo, no-,â his face was definitely a little red this time, seemingly caught off by your willingness. âIf you want to, Iâd like to. I justâŠâ He rubbed his neck a little awkwardly. âI was just teasing and you surprised me, I guess. Youâre always surprising me.âÂ
Before you could backtrack or come up with some witty response, Sukuna recovered himself and his lips were on your neck. You let out a soft whimper at the sensation of his teeth dragging against your sensitive skin, his lips latching onto you and sucking purple marks onto you with no concern for who might see them the next day.Â
As far as he was concerned you were his. Naoya could rage all he wanted. If he wanted to keep his girlfriend he shouldnât have discarded her on the mountainside. Bitterly, you hoped Naoya found out exactly what you and Sukuna had done that night. Let him seethe. Let him reflect on all that heâd lost.Â
The bastard deserved all that misery and more.Â
Sukunaâs hands found their way beneath your clothes, calloused fingers pressing against your skin with care. You hadnât realised how much your whole body was aching until he was touching you like that, your muscles flexing at the new contact.Â
You took his actions as a sign to do the same, sliding your own fingers beneath his shirt and pressing them against his abs. You knew he was well built - on hotter days heâd been shirtless when working on teaching you to lead climb, and youâd pretty shamelessly stared at him until your mind had reminded you of your boyfriend.
It would be nice for him to be shirtless now, but neither of you felt like removing any layers of clothing in the cold, so for the time being your touch would have to suffice. That was a freedom that Sukuna seemed to be taking full advantage of, mapping out your body with his hands, his fingers moving to your breasts and squeezing, red eyes lighting up at the little moan it earned him.Â
âReally shouldnât be doing this now,â he whispered huskily against your ear. âHad the whole thing planned out. Figured once youâd broken up with Naoya that Iâd take you out on a nice date and then bring you back to my place so we could do this properly. But here we are.âÂ
You giggled softly at the dismay in his tone. âWe can still stop.âÂ
âNo. I want this now. You arenât so easily resisted. But mark my words, once weâre back home, Iâm going to take my time with you. I want to look at you properly beyond just fumbling about in a dark tent - as hot as this is.âÂ
Giggling again, you nodded, in total agreement with his sentiment. Doing things like this, while a little limited, did feel exciting in its own way. It felt like you were keeping some secret with each other, doing whatever you could in the dark without anyone else knowing about it. There was an allure to it that you couldnât quite put your finger on.Â
With Sukunaâs attention on your breasts, you were the one that ended up making a major move first. Your hand slid down beneath the waistband of his trousers, finding its way into his briefs. He let out a groan at the feeling of your hand brushing against his cock, which twitched erratically at the slightest touch.Â
It felt big beneath your fingers, and you hadnât realised that your breath had hitched until Sukuna was letting out a chuckle.Â
âImpressed?âÂ
âMaybe,â you mumbled shyly. You didnât have much of a point of reference for such things. Naoya was the only man youâd ever been with, and you imagined that he wasnât packing anything particularly unique down there. Not if Sukunaâs size was anything to go by. You wrapped your fingers around the shaft, enjoying the way Sukuna shivered in pleasure.Â
Meanwhile, Sukuna mirrored your actions, his fingers moving down your body until they were grazing against your panties. It was a little embarrassing how damp the fabric had grown, your pussy desperately slick from the events of the evening. Your body wanted Sukuna just as much as your heart and mind did, and it was making that fact glaringly obvious.Â
âSo wet,â he said with a chuckle. âThere I was all nervous that you wouldnât feel the same. Shows what I know, huh?âÂ
You flushed, glancing away from him in embarrassment as his fingers pushed your panties to the side, giving him free access to your pussy beneath. His fingers moved deftly through your folds, moving the slick around before rubbing at your clit, leaving you whining his name and squeezing his cock a little tighter.Â
âCute,â he hummed, his nose brushing against yours. One of his fingers prodded at your opening, pushing in with a little effort. He took a few minutes opening you up with two of his fingers, languidly stuffing you full with them to prepare you. You didnât want to admit to how emotional the whole thing made you feel, because Naoya had always said that foreplay was a myth.Â
Never before had you been prepared for anything, and Sukuna taking so much time to do so had your heart fluttering.Â
You tried your best to return the favour, stroking his cock as best as you could while it was still confined beneath his clothes, but he didnât seem to pay that too much attention - completely fixed on making you cum around his fingers before moving onto anything else. That was another thing that Naoya had never done. Cumming with him was so infrequent that youâd almost grown certain that you couldnât do it with another person.Â
And yet, Sukuna had you doing it in a matter of minutes - your toes curling in desperate pleasure as you gushed over his fingers with a sweet little gasp.Â
There was no time for you to catch your breath before he was pushing your trousers and panties down ever so slightly to give him access whilst still keeping you dressed and warm. He did the same for his own clothes, gently displacing your hand from his cock and repositioning the two of you so that he was on top.Â
The sleeping bag was still wrapped snugly around the two of you, keeping the warmth in effectively while he lined himself up over you, his muscular body keeping you pinned down beneath him in a position youâd be more than happy to remain in for the rest of your days. It was so nice to be under him like that, to be so surrounded by his body and heat and scent.Â
It was where you were supposed to be. In some uncomfortable tent on the side of the mountain feeling happier than ever because he was there with you.Â
Youâd gone to the mountaineering club for Naoya, but you couldnât help but think fate had guided your actions and really led you there for Sukuna.Â
âAll good?â He asked, hot breath brushing against your ear. The tip of his cock was pressed up against your opening, and you realised that he was giving you a chance to back out - showing you a level of consideration that Naoya never would.Â
âYeah,â you breathed, lashes fluttering as you peered up into lovely red eyes, letting out a whine when he finally pushed into you.
You hadnât been prepared for just how big he was, your eyes practically rolling to the back of your skull as he pressed his way into your tight pussy. Your nails dug into his arms and a whimper left you at the intensity of the feeling. You felt like you were aware of every ridge and vein on his cock, your pussy squeezing around him each time heâd involuntarily twitch within you.Â
It didnât take long for the uncomfortable fullness to give way to pleasure once he bottomed out inside you. It had a pleasantly warm buzz running through your body once he started to thrust within you, the weight of his body keeping you still and secure, keeping you warm even as the storm picked up outside.Â
Any fears of the thunder and lightning were pushed aside in favour of focusing on the feeling of being split in two. Sukunaâs lips found your neck once more, overstimulating you as he bit and sucked on the juncture between your neck and shoulder, bringing tears to your eyes beneath all the pleasure he was giving you.Â
Even through the stretch it felt right to have him inside you, and it was downright heavenly each time one of his long strokes hit that one specific spot inside you, bringing stars and light to your vision each time.Â
This was where you were meant to be.Â
Neither of you lasted particularly long. Not after the day youâd just had, and certainly not after months of mutual crushing. Youâd cum first - your body already sensitive from the previous orgasm and totally overwhelmed by the intimacy of it all. Sukuna had reached down to play with your clit while he fucked you, and that set you on a high unlike any other.Â
If Naoya had known where the clit was, heâd certainly never touched it.Â
And yet, there Sukuna was utilising it. You could count on one hand the number of times youâd cum from penetrative sex, but Sukuna had pulled an orgasm from you like it was easy.Â
And maybe it was easy.Â
Maybe Naoya just fucking sucked.Â
Sukuna wasnât far behind you in reaching his release. When youâd cum youâd clamped down around him tightly, locked in a spiral of pure pleasure unlike that which youâd experienced before. It felt better than anything you could achieve with your own hands - infinitely more intimate and lovely.Â
The way youâd squeezed him so tight had sent Sukuna over the edge, prompting him to groan your name in that low tone of his as he filled you with his seed, riding out his own release to the point where you were growing overstimulated and begging him for mercy.Â
Mercy which he gave you with a gentle smile and a kiss planted atop your sweaty forehead.Â
The two of you lay then in the darkness, soft pants drowned beneath the howling of wind. Sukuna was holding you tightly, keeping you secure in his grip like you might vanish if he didnât cling to you with all his might. He was still inside you, softening but present in a way that felt blissfully intimate. Whenever youâd laid with Naoya, you couldnât wait to escape his grip and get cleaned up.Â
With Sukuna, it was different.Â
You could stay there with him sheathed inside you for hours - connected in a way that just felt right.Â
His lips were ghosting against your hair, soothing you with kisses, running his hands over you repetitively in a bid to ensure you stayed warm at his side. Your ankle was throbbing a little from all the movement, but with Sukunaâs legs intertwined with yours you found yourself able to ignore it. All thoughts and discomforts overridden by how happy you felt in that moment.Â
âTry and get some sleep,â he murmured against your hair. âIâll look after you.âÂ
âI know,â you whispered.Â
He smiled softly. âJust making sure you know it. Apparently you canât take for granted that everyone will look out for you.â His tone came out a little bitter, but instead of feeling anger at the reminder of Naoyaâs actions, you felt a warmth blossom across your chest at Sukunaâs display of care.Â
You liked that he was angry about it. It was nice to have someone care about you for once.Â
In hindsight, it was a blessing that you never made it out into the mountains alone with Naoya like youâd intended to at the start of your mountaineering training. If you had, perhaps you wouldâve ended up left for dead - freezing on the side of the mountain while Naoya summoned some crocodile tears and dismissed your fate altogether.Â
You were lucky to have Sukuna. Lucky to be able to continue going into the mountains with someone who actually wanted you there. Someone who would really take care of you.Â
âIâm glad youâre here to look after me.â Your hand reached for his face, tracing his tattoos with great care. As pleasant as your evening with him had been, you were looking forward to making it down the mountain - to spending time with him outside of that tent. It would be nice to see just where those tattoos disappeared off to beneath his clothes.Â
But that would have to wait.Â
You knew that the next day would be long. An arduous trek back down the mountain was ahead of you, along with a no doubt vicious confrontation with your ex. One that you were sure Sukuna would take the lead on, but still not something you were looking forward to experiencing.Â
Either way, you wouldnât dwell on it that evening.Â
Because for the time being, there was nothing you needed to worry about. The storm could rage on outside for as long as it needed to. You were safe in your tent, in the arms of a man who would never leave you alone on the side of a mountain.Â
And it was possibly the happiest youâd been in a very long time.Â
a/n: after getting down to the bottom of the mountain the next day I promise reader slapped naoya and sukuna beat the hell out of him :)

Firefighter!Sukuna who comes home one day, to see you perched on the living room couch, 3 different bottles of lube place in a straight line on the glass table in front of you, donned in just his shirt, the inside of your thighs glistening in the dim light.
"What have been up to, Sweetheart?" He queried, already feeling heat bloom in his belly, fuck, leaning against the wooden frame of the ganken, hands undoing the loop of his laces, loud thud echoed as his boot dropped.
"Nothing." You murmured, shifting a little, fiddling with the hem of your his shirt, eyes darting between him and the door behind his head, squirming a little when you spotted a glint of curiosity in his eyes, "just missed you, that's all."

"That's it?" He teased, hands tucked in his pockets as he stood between you and the table, frame hulking over you, "I'll clean up, then you can tell me just how much you missed me, 'kay?" You stared up at him in awe, his broad shoulders spanning past your periphery.

He takes in the hazy look of your eyes, cheeks flushed red, hips weakly grinding against the couch, so out of it.
"What's gotten you all worked up?" He murmured, reaching to caress your cheek, a groan rumbling in his chest as you leaned into his palm, lips parting open as you kissed his thumb.
He slid his thumb past your lips, gently pressing it against the floor your mouth, nail scratching the ventral surface of your tongue, noting the slight rise in your temperature, he kneeled before you. "You're ovulating."

Firefighter!Sukuna who takes one long lick through your folds and stares up at you in surprise, "This isn't lube." He mumbled against the slick skin of your thighs, watching as you shyly ducked your head, eyes closing shut as you let out a shaky breath, "Oh, baby."
And he dove.
Big, warm palms cradling the back of your thighs, lips hollowing around your throbbing clit as his chin nudged against your entrance, cheeks glossy from a thin layer of sweat and your juices.
Firefighter!Sukuna who can feel his ears ring as he imagines you tucked cozy on his couch, desperate and aching as you rubbed your clit, leaking all over the fabric as waited for him to come home.
"Must be sore." He huffed pulling away from your sticky center, hands leaving your thighs to reach for your wrists, gently pressing against his thumb against the insides, "don't worry, sweetheart, I've got you."
He tugged them closer, resting them in his cheeks, kissing the centre of your palms before ducking back down, lower face completely hidden away, nose nudging against your folds.
Firefighter!Sukuna who has you squirming within minutes, head tossed back as you ground against his face, uncaring if he could breathe or not, solely focused on the heat brewing in your belly.
"Please 'Kunaâ." You moaned, nails scratching his scalp, feeling his fingers trace around your entrance, tips dipping in before he pulled back each time.
Firefighter!Sukuna who took mercy on your withering form, sliding one finger inside your pussy, accompanied by his tongue lapping up your clit.
Firefighter!Sukuna who barely takes anytime before he finds your sweet spot, sliding second finger in and thrusting with purpose, occasionally dipping his tongue along with his fingers.
You let out a low moan, eyes watering as you got closer, muscles in your belly pulling taut as you came, clit pulsing against his tongue, walls squeezing around his fingers trying to milk them.
Firefighter!Sukuna who feels you slump into the couch, thighs falling open as you laid breathing heavily, letting him fiddle with your body.
Firefighter!Sukuna who spend hours between your legs, fingers pruned and lips swollen red, cheeks and chin glossy and dripping with your essence.
Firefighter!Sukuna who pulls away from your core, trailing wet kisses up your belly, hands pushing your legs off his shoulders gently back on to the couch so he could crawl up your body.
"Pretty, pretty girl." He murmured against your navel, his breath warm against your skin.
You preened at his praise, hand rubbing his shoulder, eyes locked on the way the muscles in his neck flexed, every part of his body equally arousing and enticing.
Your free hand rested on his forearm, fingers tracing the thick bulging veins, before reaching up and curling around his elbow, "Pretty, pretty boy."
Firefighter!Sukuna who grinned boyishly at your praise, warmth blooming on his face, pink tint in his cheeks matching the shade in his head.
"Think I am pretty?" He shifted closer, pressing a kiss against your sternum, calloused hand wrapping around your left breast, squeezing the fat before tracing his thumb around the nipple.
"The prettiest." You sighed, back arching so you could push harder against his palm, feeling him grin against your skin.
Firefighter!Sukuna who doubled his efforts, lips reaching for your hardened nipple, suckling with vigor as his hand pinched the other, leaving rosy red marks all over your chest, skin shiny with spit
Firefighter!Sukuna who nearly knocks his teeth against yours when he reached your lips, kissing the corner of your mouth before peppering some more along your face.
Firefighter!Sukuna who wraps an arm around your waist, pulling you closer to plant a messy kiss against your lips.
He stood up straightening, pulling you along, arms holding you steady as you settled on your feets, before nudging you around, making you face the couch.
You shifted forward, knees resting on the cushions, palms balancing you against the back of the couch.
"Smart girl." Sukuna hummed, one hand curling around your side, the other guiding his cock between your legs, sliding his length between your sticky folds not yet pushing in.
You waited patiently for him, breath hitching every time his tip bumped against you entrance, walls spasming in anticipation of his thickness, each time left empty as he took his sweet time.
"Kunaâ" You whined, glaring him over your shoulder, arching your back further to signal him to just slid in.
Firefighter!Sukuna who grunts as he slid the tip of cock into your pussy, hands gripping your waist as he slowly inched inside, reaching around to swipe over your clit.
"Ease up, Sweetheart." He mumbled against your shoulder, pressing a kiss against your sweat slicked skin, resisting the urge to lick clean the drops of it racing down your back, "it's just me."
You leaned lower, elbows resting on the back of the couch, you felt his girth stretching your pussy open, veins pulsing against your tender walls, his fingers drawing shapes on your clit.
Firefighter!Sukuna who feels you wrap a hand around his wrist, tugging him away from your clit, his brows furrowed as he leaned closer, looking over your shoulder only to find you hunched over, face hidden by your hairs.
"Everything okaâ"
"I'll cum." It's barely audible, debauched little cry as you clung to his wrist, eyes squeezed shut as you tried to pave off your orgasm, trying to focus on anything but the tingles threatening to shoot up your spine.
Sukuna grunted, feeling his balls squeeze at the thought of you trying not to cum on his dick, how adorable.
"Isn't that the point, Sweetheart?" He teased, pulling back out slowly, before thrusting back in, knocking any thoughts out of your head, hands resting on your sides, away from your clit.
Firefighter!Sukuna who aimed at the spongy spot inside, determined to make you fall apart one way or another, leaning down to press his lips against the back of your neck.
Firefighter!Sukuna who makes you cum in record time, pressing tender kisses along your body as his cock battered your walls.
Firefighter!Sukuna who has you in his lap, head lolling to the side as you tried to retain your balance, hands gripping his shoulders as he bounced you his lap.
Sukuna hissed, feeling your nails dig into the skin of his shoulders, arms flexing as he lifted you, before letting go and repeating all over again, a creamy ring coated his base, mixture of body fluids running down his balls.
You could feel your high getting closer, the tip of his cock ploughing into your walls, squishy against all the sensitive spots inside, "Soâso, close 'Kuna, so," you heaved curling forward as the dam broke loose.
Clear liquid gushed out of you, pushing his cock out, spraying all over his belly and thighs, you shook in his hold, utterly satiated.
Firefighter!Sukuna who fists his cock to the sight of you, eyes darting between your swollen pussy leaking over his thighs, to your pebbled nipples, red and raw from his mouth, to your face glistening with sweat pretty eyes droopy and following the motion of his hands.
Firefighter!Sukuna who cums with a loud moan of your name, thick white cream shooting all over his belly, some managing to land on yours too.
Firefighter!Sukuna who sighs in exhaustion, wrapping an arm around your waist, pulling you closer, breasts squished against his pecs, sweat and cum sticky on your skin.
Firefighter!Sukuna who makes a mental checklist of things that are needed to be done: water, pee, bath, take-out for dinnâ
Firefighter!Sukuna whose thoughts are interrupted by you huffing against his neck, hips grinding against his softening cock.
Oh boy.
