The amazing love of God, binds us together in worship and praise to our Heavenly Father Whose loves for us is so profound, that He gave His only begotten Son to become our substitute for sin, while the supernatural love of Jesus is such that while we were yet sinners, Christ died on our account so that we might be forgiven of our sin, receive a new life in Him, become united with Christ and abide with Him forever.

Faith, enables us to worship in spirit and truth. It empowers us to carry out the work that God has prepared for us to do and it emboldens us to engage in the spiritual warfare of this age, effectively.

Peace and love with faith, comes directly from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. The unity of the triune, combines to bestow peace to the brethren, and Love With Faith. The divine equality of Father and Son is meted out in clear view in this verse; we are blessed with every spiritual blessing by the Father, through the Son, both are equivalent in honor, glory, might, majesty, dominion, and power, forever and ever, amen.

Ephesians 6:23 Peace to the brothers and sisters, and love with faith from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

We Are Called To Hear And Heed His Word

The Word of God is living and powerful and As Christians We Are Called To Hear And Heed His Word, but there are many pitfalls which can cause the living seed of God's Word to fall on deaf and unbelieving ears. They might hear the sound, the syntax, and the sentence with their ears, but fail to understand the spiritual truth within their heart. So the Lord spoke to the crowd in veiled language so that those who had ears to hear would hear and would understand.

As we open the written Word of God, may we focus upon it, hearing it, understanding it, and putting into practice the glorious truths within. May the living Word, Jesus Christ, be the focus of our lives as we seek to live our lives to glorify Him.

Matthew 13:9 Whoever has ears, let them hear.”

Celebrating 250 Years 2026

The incredible freedom we received in Christ, released us from the recurring need to offer daily sacrifices to God. It freed us from the annual obligations to have our sins covered for another year by the insufficient blood of bulls and goats. Having been saved through our faith in Christ, ALL our sins: past, present, and future, are forgiven, and we are to put off our old former ways. We are to live by faith and we are to walk in spirit and truth.

Some Christians use the incredible freedom we have in Christ to indulge in worldly ways and carnal activities. They exploit our spiritual privileges and pervert the Word of God by proclaiming that we are free to indulge in whatsoever ungodly acts and fleshly inclinations take our fancy. This is outrageous and such misappropriation of God's Word is unacceptable, unscriptural, and should be challenged and changed.

We have spiritual armor to protect ourselves from the ravages of the flesh, and we have been given God's sufficient grace to stand fast in this evil day and resist the devil and all his worldly temptations. We are to live as Christ lived: in holiness and righteousness all the days of our life, and we are to love and serve one another in the same way that Christ loved us and gave Himself for us.

Galatians 5:13 You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.

Your Word Has Given Me Life

We are to be filled with the Spirit of God, to grow in grace, and abide in Christ. We are exhorted to meditate on His Word, day and night - teaching, admonishing, and comforting one another in all wisdom. We are to sing God's Word with psalms, in hymns and spiritual songs, and by His grace we are encouraged to make melody in our hearts to the Lord.

We live in a fast-moving world, where we are increasingly beset by difficulties, dangerous afflictions, and persecution. Let us never forget the comfort and solace that can be received, moment by moment, from the Word of God as we abide in Him and He in us.

The more we abide in Christ - Who is the living WORD of God, the more He is revealed to us through His written WORD. It is only as we walk in spirit and truth that we will increasingly discover the beauty and wonder of "Your Word," as expressed so eloquently in Psalm 119.

Psalm 119:50 This is my comfort in my affliction, For Your Word Has Given Me Life.

Truly Blessed, Without Measure

The nations of the world have chosen to rebel against the Lord, and His hand of blessing is being withdrawn before He comes to address the evil of this age during the 7 year Tribulation period. Israel will always be the nation whose God is the Lord, but Israel has been set aside for a season until "the fullness of the Gentiles has come in." But Paul tells us, "all Israel will be saved," when they repent of their sins, return to the God of their fathers, and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ - which they will do as a nation at the end of the Tribulation period.

But Truly Blessed, Without Measure, is the man, the woman, the people, the nation whose God is the LORD. Truly blessed are His people and His Body, which is the Church. He loved the world so much that He sent His only begotten Son that whosoever believes on Him should not perish but become inheritors of His coming kingdom and be given life everlasting.

Psalm 33:12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, The people He has chosen as His own inheritance.

The Truth Will Set You Free

All who receive the Lord Jesus as the Word of God made flesh, are given the right to become children of God, even to those that believe on His name, and there are many who truly believe in Christ as Savior, many who have trusted Him as their Redeemer, many who have placed faith in the only begotten Son of God for their salvation.

A Christian is not necessarily a disciple of Jesus, but disciples of Christ are certainly Christians. Believers who have learned and are continuing to learn more and more of Christ Jesus are truly those who can call themselves disciples. When we obey the Word of God and learn of Christ, we grow in spiritual knowledge and our spiritual understanding matures. The more we grow in our Christian life, the more we develop in our freedom from the sin nature that keeps us in bondage, and that freedom in Christ sets us free to live our life in spirit and truth.

Let us abide in the Word of God so that we may learn of Christ and grow in grace, for if we truly abide in Christ and He in us we will certainly be His disciples and we will know the truth and The Truth Will Set You Free.

John 8:32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set us free.”

FREE INDEED

Freedom is the cry of every man and woman, every boy and every girl. And Jesus proclaimed: "If the Son makes you free, you will be FREE INDEED."

How important to recognize that there is a huge chasm between knowing facts about the truth as a historical fact, or as some detailed information, and actually knowing the truth about the unique Person and saving Work of the Lord Jesus Christ. There is a vast difference between knowing about Jesus and knowing the Person of Jesus - having a personal relationship with Him, as outlined in the Scriptures.

Every man and woman is born dead in sin. Everyone lives in bondage to sin. Everyone is a slave of sin and is entrapped by sin. Every man and woman is estranged from God and shackled by the heavy weight of sin. But there is one way, and only one way to be set free from slavery to sin, Satan, death, and the curse of the law - and that is to know Christ personally - not simply to know historical facts about Him, but to know Him as one's own personal Savior Who willingly died in our place to pay the price for our sin. When we are set free from slavery to sin, Satan, death, and the curse of the law by the redeeming blood of God's only begotten Son, we know the Son as Savior and the Son, Who loves us, gave Himself for us, and sets us free forever.

John 8:36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

FREEDOM

Christian liberty is not a dangerous doctrine as the legalists and law-mongers would have us believe. Legalism seeks to change the old sin nature from the outside and forces it to obey God's perfect, unachievable Law in our own strength, but it fails every time.

The surrendered believer who is walking in spirit and truth, is yielded to the guidance of the Holy Spirit Who works through our new life in Christ, and over time we discover an inner discipline at work. The spiritual Christian discovers the righteous requirements of God's law being fulfilled in and through them.

How wonderful to discover this godly FREEDOM we have in Christ Who has set us free from the yoke of bondage by means of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is working in us, day by day, transforming our new life in Christ into the image and likeness of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.

LOVE AND FAITHFULNESS

What comfort, rest, and reassurance wash the hearts and minds of believers when reflecting on the overwhelming love of God and the depth and height and length and breadth to which His grace extends.

His mercy dwarfs the mightiest mountains, it reaches into the highest heavens. His love plunges beyond the bottomless depths of the deepest oceans, and His LOVE AND FAITHFULNESS, righteousness, and justice plummet to the very depths of our understanding and extend into the farthest reaches of our limited grasp.

This knowledge of God is not for the unregenerate, the wisdom of God is foolishness to them. Indeed, God's foolishness is wiser than mankind's wisdom, and His weakness is stronger than mankind's combined strength. But such understanding is sweetness and strength to the sanctified soul, for true knowledge of the Holy-One is spiritually discerned.

The knowledge that comes from the Lord quickens our heart, comforts our soul, informs our thoughts, and translates into joy and peace. May we lift our hearts morning by morning and every moment of our transient lives, by raising our voices in joyful thanks and praise. God's loyal love reaches to the sky, His faithfulness extends beyond the clouds, and His saving grace spans the eternal ages to come.

A Longing Fulfilled Is A Tree Of Life

The Tree of Life stands like two majestic book-ends in the Word of God. In Genesis we find this life-giving Tree growing in the midst of the garden of Eden, offering eternal life to Adam who was made in God's image and likeness. All he had to do was to simply choose to take and eat of the fruit that hung from its branches, he could freely eat of every tree in the garden with one exception.

In Revelation, we discover the return of the Tree of Life standing in the midst of the paradise of God: "It will produce twelve types of fruits, and yield its fruit each month, while its leaves are given for the healing of the nations." Paradise lost, in the beginning, becomes Paradise restored at the end and whoever 'overcomes' will be able to eat from 'the Tree of Life'. Whoever's faith is credited with righteousness will be able to eat of its life-giving fruit: "Whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith."

Blessed are the ones that trust in the Lord and whose hope is in the Lord our God. He is the true Vine in Whom is life eternal; He is the Bread of life; He is the living water, the Rock of our salvation, and the Hope of all the ends of the earth. A Longing Fulfilled Is A Tree Of Life: ALL who feed on Him in their hearts by faith, with thanksgiving, will eat of the Tree of Life and find Him to be their Source and Sustainer through time and into eternity.

The Testing Of Your Faith

The days in which we live mirror the days about which James was writing, and the lesson that they were to learn is one that we need to understand fully and apply consistently if we are to resist the temptation of Satan who seeks to shipwreck our faith. Let us consider times of testing in our lives as a God-given opportunity to produce in us perseverance, steadfastness, and patient endurance.

If we can consider the obstacles of life to be opportunities that mature our faith and produce in us patient endurance, we will come to understand that God is using the trials of life to benefit our Christian character, and to help us grow more like the Lord Jesus. When trouble comes our way, let us consider it an opportunity for great joy, knowing that The Testing Of Your Faith, our patient endurance has a chance to grow and our life will glorify our Father, Who is in heaven.

James 1:3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.

The Supremacy Of LOVE

Throughout his letter to the Corinthians, there are practical admonitions and little encouragements for the saints in Corinth to live lives that honor the Lord. Paul wanted all the believers there to grow in their Christian faith and to walk in spirit and truth. He tackled things that caused division within the Church and exposed the foolishness of human wisdom, by contrasting it with the wisdom of God. He touched on marriage and related matters, and laid down principles of godly conduct. He discussed the importance of the Lord's Supper, the varieties of spiritual gifts and The Supremacy Of LOVE.

It may be a simple instruction to the Church but it is one of the greatest challenges with which any of us can be presented, for it is the Holy Spirit of God Who calls us to live as Christ lived and to love as Christ loved. Such divine love is an impossibility in our own limited, human strength. It is only as the Holy Spirit is given way to carry out His work within, that this impossible command can be carried out.

Every action and every attitude, every word and every work, each thought of the heart, each decision of the mind and even the motives that influence the choices we make, need to be bathed in the purifying gaze of the Holy Spirit, washed in the fountain of God's divine love and covered with the unconditional grace of Christ Who for love of His Church went to the cross willingly so that like Him, everything we do may be done through HIM - in LOVE.

The Gracious Gift Of HOPE

A worldly hope is founded on irrational thinking, empty vanity, a humanistic philosophy, and man's deceitfully-inspired prospects, resulting in disappointments, frustration, confusion, and shame. But Christian hope is founded on an altogether different principle which is rooted in God's trustworthy goodness and the gracious promises of our Heavenly Father. Christian hope is centered on the never-failing Word of God and His many precious promises, which are all 'yes' and 'amen' in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The Gracious Gift Of HOPE is secured on the unchangeable and unconditional love of God, which He poured into our hearts by His Spirit, when we first trusted Christ's finished work on Calvary. The love of God was poured out in great measure when we first believed, and it grows into an ever-deepening awareness of God's great love for us which remains the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Never question the length and depth and height and breadth of God's gracious love towards you. God demonstrated His love towards us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. The hope that comes through faith in Christ does not disappoint, because the supernatural love of God has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit Who was given to us, through time and into eternity.

Romans 5:5 And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

Faith Is Believing All God Has Said In His Word; first for our justification, and then for living a sanctified life. Faith is accepting scriptural truth as a firm fact. Faith is having the assurance that what we hope for in Christ will certainly come to pass. Indeed, without faith it is impossible to please God.

The man or woman who lives by faith uses life's stumbling-blocks as stepping stones. Faith allows obstacles to be changed into opportunities, and wounds that are inflicted become a witness to the generous grace He pours out into our lives in great abundance. When we live by faith, we remain in fellowship with the Lord, and can become healing balm and a godly comfort in the lives of others, who are facing similar difficulties.

Living by faith frequently contrasts the visible unreality of this fake, false, and failing world, with the invisible reality of true, glorious, eternal, heavenly things, that are our promised inheritance, in Christ.

Happy is the one who understands that faith is not only required for salvation, but is the necessary ingredient to live a victorious Christian life. Living by faith simply means that we trust completely all that God has said in His Word.

When I Consider Your Heavens

Whether you stand gazing at the deep midnight-blue sky where a multitude of shimmering diamond-studded stars are twinkling overhead or whether you pick up an authoritative journal that outlines the staggering dimensions and design of the Milky Way, the innumerable numbers of other gigantic galaxies or countless number of stars that are visible to the human eye, you can do little more than wonder about our astonishing Creator Who, at a moment before time began and in a place before space was created, spoke the world into being.

When I Consider Your Heavens , the innumerable stars in a boundless space, which extends far beyond the reaches of mortal eye and contains immeasurably more that mankind's limited imagination can consider, each have their appointed place in God's overall plan.

While the Lord set the sun and moon in place to govern the day and the night, it was mankind who was made in the image of God who was ordained to rule over the earth as God's appointed regent. God created mankind to have dominion over the fish of the sea, the fowl of the air, the cattle, and over all the earth and every creeping thing upon the earth.

Therefore Do Not Let Anyone Judge You

Paul often lays the foundation and fundamentals of faith early in his writings. He then identifies anything that has caused his readers to stray from the truth, or has diverted their attention away from Christ. Finally, he explains how these truths should be applied to our individual, everyday lives.

Having been freed from the restrictions of the Law, through faith in Christ, Paul's earnest desire was to instill in us the higher life that we have in Him. He wanted to get across that we are no longer bound by law, but are under grace. Therefore Do Not Let Anyone Judge You and Paul spent many verses outlining who we are in Christ and the privileges we have in Him.

As guilty members of the old creation we were under God's condemnation, but by faith in Christ's redeeming work, we are part of a new creation, which has been set free from the requirements of the Law and have been declared forgiven saints. There is now no condemnation for those of us who are in Christ Jesus:

Colossians 2:16 Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day.

Ask Me

The whole of Psalm 2 looks forward to the day when the Lord Jesus will be crowned as King of the whole earth and will set up His Millennial reign over the nations. On that day, He will rule the nations with a rod of iron as God has promised.

Because of Christ's sacrifice on the Cross, God raised Him up and exalted him to the highest place of honor by making the nations His inheritance and the ends of the earth His possession: "Ask Me," were the Father's instructions to the Son, "and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession."

The nations of the earth may conspire against the Lord and against His Anointed. They may mock our Savior and imagine a vain thing. But God is our God and Christ is our Savior, and blessed is everyone who takes refuge in HIM.

Psalm 2:8 Ask me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession.
