A Simple spell for the new year!
You can do this for the first of every month, but today is a great day to do this spell as today is the start of a new year, and this can get you ready for what is to come in your life this year!
The front door of your house holds a lot of energy, people and their energies walk through your door, time and time again, some good and some bad. Let’s make use of that energy, first, I like to cleanse the space and myself before this activity. First, we have to cleanse any bad energy that has walked through our door or anything that has wanted to enter. Talk any salt and put it in your hand (my favourite is pink) and you will blow it off your hand out your front door (if you feel any negativity towards any other door in your house, you can do this for any door) this is an old way of banishing bad energies and spirits from entering or trying to enter your space. The next part is the part that can help you a lot through this year. Take cinnamon and put it in the palm of your hand and blow it out your door. This will bring luck and abundance into your space, this can lead to you having a successful year in what you hope for, money success at work, whatever is needed to guide you, this ritual can help you into the year with these goals. But keep in mind these things will only come Into your life if you work for them, this ritual is not a free pass, nor is any magic, it’s a guide, a push if you will
Also if you don’t have ground cinnamon on hand you can light your cinnamon stick like incense and incense your door way. This will work the same.
You don’t want your neighbours to see you your witchy rituals or you live in apartment where you can’t do this. Have no fear! As you can do an abundance spell and it can work the same, just do it at the first of this month and if you want to the first of every month- here is a spell I use
Money rice (rice dyed green)
Stones: tigers eye, selenite. Rose quarts, jade or any green stone
1: take your green candle and some oil and rub it in cinnamon, during this, you can carve it with any symbol you feel will help you I use Taurus
2: put the candle in a fireproof container, along with the green rice and cloves.
3: surround the container with the crystals one for north, south, west and east (use ones associated with abundance)
4: right what do you want on a bay leaf “I wish for luck on the test, or I wish to be selected to get this house”
5: meditate with your purpose in mind with leaf in hand and when you feel like your are ready light the candle and burn the leaf in it, burn the candle until gone, and make sure leaf is full burned.
6. Let the candle burn you can do other things while it’s burning as the candle will do the rest as long as you believe in the spell.
I do this spell on the planetary alignment of Venus in Taurus. If you want to use zodiacs or aliments in spells I have a book that is great to learn.
