Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله:

“Don’t let fear stop you from doing the thing you love.”

When the 1st of Rabi’ al-Awwal would begin, our teachers would go to hospitals and give toys to the terminally ill children just to see them smile. They’d visit jails and tell the prisoners that they still had a chance with Allāh, and they’d repent. They’d find the hungry in their communities and give them food to eat, and they’d rejoice. They’d go to the guys stuck in the street, hug them, and tell them they loved them, and they’d change. They’d pay for the entire month of expenditure for a single mother, even if they were Non Muslims, and they’d weep in happiness.

Be with someone who is proud to have you.

When God sees that you are prepared, He will open new doors.

“You are what you love not who loves you.”

Everyone is broken in this world, some without love some by love. The rare few that have been gifted with sincere love and compatibility, that’s a gift from God. I swear. It’s a gift.
