I decided to get all the week's prompts posted in one day. No use stretching it out. Enjoy!
Turns out you've been raising a changeling all this time. You always suspected, of course. Too many clues to ignore. Now, on their eighteenth birthday, they say something is calling them, a distant summoning to a home they no longer remember. Well, you'll be damned if you let them go alone. Time for one last road trip.
They told you the earth is flat. You never believed them, and you've set sail all alone to prove it. You;ll show them. You'll show them all -- oh damn, there's the edge, shit, you're going over! And now, you find yourself in a strange new world.
You are part of an improv troupe. You're okay at it, still new, but your scene partner is good. Really good. Too good. Everything they say is actually coming true.
At a tavern in your current city of residence, you hear that a local chapter of dragon riders is looking for new members. Whoa! You've always wanted to fly. You go to their headquarters to sign up. It turns out you misunderstood. The dragon will be riding you.
One day, you discover something wrong with your hand. You can barely move your fingers, and they no longer separate. Time passes, and it gets worse: your skin seems to be transforming into a hard chitin. You can't put it off any longer, and go to a doctor. Diagnosis: carcinization. You are becoming a crab.
I think I am entering a period of wanting to be offline more, which means I will probably take a break on the prompts. Of course, knowing me, I'll be gone for months or years again! I do have plot and dialogue prompts for next week, though, so I'll queue those up before I disappear.
Ah, I wish I was capable of finding one purpose in life and sticking with it.

Persona is one of those people on the mend. They’ve locked themselves in their home for months, reluctant to rejoin the world, afraid of being witnessed by other people -- healthy people. But now, Persona is ready, and will be leaving their home for the first time.
