but I'm gonna be that girl. You know, I try to live my life as positively as I can. I try to surround myself around people who are not judgemental and just live for the moment but not when it comes to my heart. I've always done things differently than most people, but heck, that's what makes me, me. It's not about to change anytime soon. For the longest time I had forgotten what it was like to really let go of whatever I was holding on to and just let my heart feel what it feels. I've always been the cautious girl who won't let anyone in, except for the 5 people who I consider beyond family. But I decided to take a chance, let it go and just enjoy the moment. All the signs were right, the laughs, the eye contact, the physical attraction, the company. So I went with my gut and let go, for just a few hours... And here I am over a week later. No response, no call, no nothing. How am I suppose to feel? Obviously if this was any other Joe I'd brush it off and go on with my life as if nothing happened. But I let myself not care for a few hours and this is what I get. I find myself thinking and overthinking. This just isn't me. This feeling. This internal battle. The struggle to understand why I felt what I felt. Was it because I wanted to feel this feeling again? Or was it actually real? Am i delusional? Who knows. I guess I'll never know. I hate to be "that girl." And I just became her. And I hate nothing more than to be "that girl."
