There's a commotion down by the shore as a fishing boat docks on a sandbar. Half a dozen fishermen are hoisting an enormous Relicanth, clearly excited about their catch. The pokémon looks bored and seems to wish to be let go. How did one of these creatures travel so close to the surface?
Some partygoers are avoiding the excitement on stage to relax on the beach. A few people and pokémon are trying their hand at beachcombing!
Roll three d20s to see what three items you find during your beachcombing adventure!
1) Oops! That's just a moldy, unidentifiable piece of plastic; it probably used to be a toy of some sort.
2) A sandy set of dentures. Wait a minute, why did you find these here in the sand? Someone, somewhere, is very unhappily missing all their fake teeth.
3) A clear, sandy, collar-shaped blob. It looks like trash, but it's actually a Gastrodon egg sac!
4) An old boot. Wonder what happened to the other one...
5) A fake Druddigon skull. It looks like it was a prop for someone's art project.
6) A couple of sand dollars! Some of them are completely whole.
7) A bunch of really cool-looking tropical seeds. They look like they might have drifted onto shore from somewhere.
8) A glow-in-the-dark frisbee. Someone must have lost it during a night beach party.
9) A waterproof watch that someone must have lost at sea, now washed ashore. It's set to a different time zone, and it's still ticking away.
10) A piece of driftwood oddly shaped like a sleeping dragon pokémon of some sort? Those familiar with the Kanto pokédex might recognize it as a Dragonite.
11) A very shiny, foreign coin. Wonder what region it originally came from?
12) Many pretty pieces of colorful seaglass. Some of these look good enough to turn into jewelry.
13) A Dweeble shell. Its former tenant must have outgrown it.
14) A pair of funky novelty sunglasses. They're oversized and missing one of the lenses.
15) A golden band. Looks like someone's wedding band... oh no! Someone must be missing this terribly.
16) A vintage brass compass! It's a bit tarnished from the seawater, but the needle still spins freely.
17) A few Star Pieces. They look beautiful, glistening under the sun.
18) A gold nugget! You can probably trade this in at one of the shops for a good chunk of cash.
19) A very large, fossilized Sharpedo tooth. It's a cool, glossy black. Whatever lost this was enormous!
20) It's an elusive message in a bottle! It contains a cryptic, hand-drawn pirate treasure map!
"haven't done any of these in a hot minute, but never let anyone say i don't try. you're on, marlon." he'd be damned if he didn't try to beat marlon, knowing how rosa feels about the guy -
"Sup, dude! Long time no see!" He grins at Hyu, completely unaware that Unova's most recent Elite might quite possibly be out for revenge on his Champion's behalf. "Heard you're one o' the big guys now! Awright, I'll take ya on!"
Someone in the background counts down... 3... 2... 1... Go!
Marlon's expression is relaxed, contrasting sharply with Hyu's determined face as they both fall into a handstand. The air is filled with anticipation as spectators watch closely, eager to see which of them can maintain the pose the longest.
Over 20 minutes go by...
In the end, despite his trembling arms, Hyu's determination to avenge Rosa prevails. Marlon's feet touch the sand as he drops down from the handstand and sits back.
"Alright, you totally got me!" He's grimacing slightly. That was a little unexpected. "Lunch on me?"
There are plenty of cheers coming from the crowd, but Rosa's voice is by far the loudest.
No July 4th celebration in Unova feels complete without an annual hot dog-eating competition! This year, all eyes are on the reigning champion, Joey Chesnaught, who is not only looking to defend his title but also aims to shatter his impressive record of 83 hot dogs eaten in just ten minutes. A playful bunch of elemental monkeys, Pansear, Panpour, and Pansage, look like they're about to race to the top of the Alolan Exeggutor. Some beachgoers have congregated at the base of the Alolan Exeggutor, interested in the outcome of the race.
In the replies, cast your vote for which monkey you think will reach the top first... or throw a pokémon into the race! The winner will be determined by the mod using dice.
The monkey trio takes off, climbing skillfully and leaping over one another whenever their paths cross. The audience, standing beneath the shade of the Alolan Exeggutor, cheers wildly, but the cheers for Pansage stand out among the rest. Energized by the crowd, Pansage climbs even faster until it reaches the bewildered heads of the coconut Pokémon. Pansage is the winner!
While its two counterparts mope at their own loss, Pansage jumps down to where @unovasrage, @apocryphall, and @cleargoldenbell are standing. It seems to want to thank you for cheering for it! The grass monkey briefly disappears from view and then returns with its hoard of berries, which includes rare Custap, Wacan, Roseli, and Haban berries, among others. Mixed in with the berries are a few Rare Candies! Use them and the berries as you see fit.

Welcome to the Undella Town Community Beach Party!
Under a blazing sun and blissfully clear blue skies, Undella Beach is bustling with activity. Locals and visitors are already congregating by the seashore, their footprints leaving fleeting impressions in the warm sand. Many locals are dressed in bright red, white, and blue outfits in celebration of Unova's 250th anniversary!
The beach itself is adorned with pennants, balloons, and colorful streamers, many featuring the likeness of a certain beloved Azumarill who some guests might find familiar. Several canopy tents and coolers are set up around the beach to provide extra shade, and Delta and a few of her water-type friends are powering some misting and sprinkler systems to keep everyone cool. A small stage sits prominently near the pier, currently occupied by giggling children and Lillipup chasing each other. A posted schedule promises an appearance by the Village Bridge Quartet later in the afternoon, followed by a fireworks show after sunset. In the meantime, upbeat pop music pours out of strategically placed speakers, loud enough to incite dancing on the edges of the sandy shore, though not enough to be disruptive.
Those looking to enjoy some traditional beachy fun can relax and stretch out on the sand with a good book (and tons of sunscreen!), take a dive into the crystal-clear Undella Sea, or join the Drillbur and Sandshrew who have ventured surprisingly close to the ocean to build the best sandcastles!
For those seeking some action, two very enthusiastic Throh in Alola-print shirts are dishing out volleyballs to anyone who wants to play, with an equally enthusiastic Mienfoo running around the sandy court, the shiny whistle hanging from its neck marking it as a referee. It’s a lively scene, with cheers and banter ringing through the air as a group of teenagers engages in a pick-up game. Over at the far end of the beach, the thrill-seekers can dive into adventure with jet skis, paddleboards, and kayak rentals.
For the foodies, rows of food vendors line the edges of the beach, offering savory beach bites like Dweeble’s Hermit Crab sliders, tasty Pyukumuku’s Beach Puffs, and crispy Krabby’s Crab Cakes—all cleverly named, with various posted signs assuring that no actual pokémon were harmed in the making of these culinary creations. Village Bridge Restaurant has also brought a food truck offering its famous Berry Sandwich and Fried Berries combo. Since no trip to Unova in the summer would ever be complete without one, beachgoers can also get their hands on Casteliacones!
For those who may have forgotten something essential, eager vendors advertise an array of items, including t-shirts, water pokémon-themed swimsuits, beach towels, large umbrellas, frisbees, and bottles of sunscreen covering the entire UV spectrum, all in hopes of enticing tourists to purchase their products.
