Felt anxious so Dan told me to get dressed and drove us out to the woods so I could feel grounded again.
One half transplanted. Left decent space for the summer squash, zucchini, and peppers. Marigolds to keep the bugs away. Tomorrow I’m spreading the lupine seeds in the back.

Feeling thankful to have talented friends who can help me gift custom commissioned art to Dan while we celebrate Baileydog’s life.
Finally, my transformation is complete. I’ve baked enough to become one with the loaf.
Normal Sunday of Bella sunbathing next to Bailey 💕
Belated birthday post. I was a little bummed about turning 34 in quarantine, but my friends made it so special by throwing a brunch party complete with bloody Mary’s and cookies right on our stoop and dan turned our dining room into my favorite local restaurant. So many friends stopped by to sing me happy birthday from the sidewalk and drop off flowers. I also went for an early morning run and had the whole waterfront to myself. Barely having to wear a mask during it provided a little sense of normalcy. Even the baby geese came out to say hi. It was a really good day.

Today was a difficult day to not be allowed to hug people, but we held this one tight and made sure he wasn’t alone while he made his way across the rainbow bridge. Rest easy, Baileydog. Give Baileycat a good chase for us so she doesn’t get fat and lazy, bark at literally everything, nip at some ankles, eat all the baby carrots. You were such a good boy and we will love you forever.
Homemade mask to mail some letters to friends.
When you have a whole cup of sourdough discard.
Can’t find flour anywhere in this area and don’t want my sourdough starter, Abby Normal, to die - so mom shipped me a 10lb bag of my go-to!
If social distancing means I don’t have to share this vegetarian frittata, then I’m all for it.

Throwing back to a goodie. Five years ago today I met up with this guy at the comic book shop in Union Square. We grabbed coffee and people watched in the park for hours... and we have been getting coffee together ever since. This was our first picture together, taken three weeks after that first date. 💕☕️
Double sourdough loaf week. Never buying bread again.
