Revisiting my blog because of the Tera shutdown announcement. So many good memories here. This game was such a huge part of my life and it’s so sad to see it go even though I haven’t played for a long time. I will redownload it and take last photos just to preserve the memory.

KTERA’s summer roadmap indicated that a “Fishing System” will be implemented on their servers on August 30th.

However, they posted an announcement saying that it will be delayed to September 13th to further improve this system so they can hopefully not screw up another new system again (like talisman system). A developer note will be posted before this releases so people gain insights of what this system is about.

Art thief. :)

I don’t like stirring up drama, but since they haven’t removed the art after a week and are ignoring the original artist I’m gonna. @/yonapon is an art thief who has reposted @/chokoreton’s work after being told by the original artist to remove the repost. After telling them to remove the work, they deleted the post and reposted it. They then blocked me as I was continuously tagging the original artist in reposts so they could report it, and DMing her (@/yonapon), telling her to remove it. Unfortunately I can’t report the theft directly, so instead of letting this slide while the repost accumulates dozens of notes I’ve decided to call her out on her pettiness. The original artist has also made a post about @/yonapon, however the more info that can be spread about her until she removes the stolen work, the better.

Please report @/yonapon’s blog and block her if you draw kemonomimi/pink/pastel art or TERA fanart to keep your work safe. <3

JTERA will be introducing “classic servers” available to play over there starting on August 8th. It will be a separate download client so you can play TERA during the old days when it first came out so everyone will be starting from zero on this brand new server. For Japan server this will be dated all the way back to May 2013 for them. The server will gradually gain updates along the way. (I see Sirjuka Gallery dungeon. Ah good old times of “jump jump jump higher” for little points)

So recent players who never got to experience how TERA was like on the starting area of Island of Dawn will have that opportunity if they want to or people want to play it for nostalgic reasons.
