im not christian, but i have encountered so many transphobic christians that actually hearing someone in a position of authority in their religion actively support trans people makes me feel like maybe there is hope

Transgender religious people deserve to be seen

It is always nice to see people who love as Christ does. Sadly many of the Cristian faith do not follow the teachings of the Bible, but of the religions built around the faith. Faith is the belief in Jesus Christ and the belief in God and the Holy Spirit. Religion are the rules people added to the bible to create their specific way of life, Catholic/ Protestant and their denominations. The Bible says to embrace the sinner, Love the Sinner not the sin. Give them hope, show them love, and to show them a life with a faith in Jesus. (Corinthians 13) No one is with out sin. NO ONE has the right to banish an individual from the house of God and his love because of their sin! The only one that has any decision in an individual’s life is God Himself. So the Priest that denied that man and his family should be revoked. A teacher that dose not welcome those that are hurting due to sin that they themself are guilty of, should no longer teach. The priest above is a wonderful teacher and knows the Bible well. May he, the trans man, and his family know they are loved and may God continue to be with them.
