I'm not trying to call you the bad guy right now. But I think it's important for you to figure out why this smell was bothering you BEFORE you found out who made Sonic so smelly.
Anyway, here is a bag of chocolate with coconut flavoring. I don't know why, but everybody I have treated one to, myself included, has hated them on the first taste but enjoyed them on the second taste. If you have the same reaction all of us did, you can try it with Stone and the Wachowskis to see if they also have that same reaction to the candy.
I was given a reasonable theory as to why I was bothered. Who the source was came before that.

Shadow, I want to very gently point out that the way you're acting about Sonic is very toxic. Honestly, if that’s how you act when Sonic interacts with literally anyone else that isn't you or his family, he should fucking run in the other direction. My ex used to pull that shit, it eventually got to a point where I wasn't allowed to interact with anyone but the people he approved of and he decided how often I was allowed to talk with my family. Don't be like my ex. There's no hope for my ex to improve, but there's still hope for you.

I'm "put off" by that idea because it's absurd. I've said several times that I do not see him that way, and he has not done anything to suggest he sees me as anything but a friend.
