I’ve had to move home to take care of my mom who suffers from CRPS (Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome) .If you want this blog to keep going and contributing to this fashion community of which I get so many messages telling how much they love and admire my blog, just donate what you can. A dollar! If all of my followers donated just one dollar it would meet the goal.  

CRPS is a horrible disease. It means that my mom is in pain 24/7 and cannot use her left arm. She doesn’t have adequate medical care or access to good doctors and specialists who know about the condition. 

CRPS has no cure. This is a lifelong condition. My family does not have the money to go to a good doctor and help her manage her everyday pain. I’m asking for your help so that I can get her access to good pain relief doctors, good physical therapy and the ability to have a full life. My mother is the woman who inspired me and taught me sew, cook, balance a budget and most importantly, taught me to be true to myself. Little things like walking down the street affect her nerves so badly that she is exhausted. Because of CRPS, her hand is unusable. My mother used to alter couture wedding gowns. She cannot sew anymore. She cannot cook anymore. Imagining running errands like this when even walking around or sitting causes you pain. I’ve watched her collapse and cry because her pain is so bad. I’ve watched her become so dizzy from incorrect medication that she’s fallen and injured herself. These aren’t once in a while occurrences, this is her everyday life. My mother is the woman who first encouraged me to make this blog. Without her, I wouldn’t have brought any of this to you. I need your help to give my mother the chance at a full life. We wouldn’t ever be able to give enough gratitude to how much this would change my mother’s— and my family’s— life. She could be my mom again.
