I watched Nosferatu (2024) in Feb and immediately knew I'd have to recreate this scene with Will and Vecna at some point. 🧛

(The final panel is super rushed and I'm not happy with how it turned out, but overall I'm pleased I got this done in time for Halloween for once!)

they're both separated from the others, along with karen, highlighting their roles this season. they are the same three vecna warned nancy about in s4. they seem rather emotionally distant from the others, judging from the blocking. i believe this is foreshadowing their individual roles in the supernatural plot this season.

holly is in her own book, hinting that she probably uses fantasy to escape very similarly to mike. mike on the other side happens to have switched to coffee. this signifies possible stress in his life and restlessness, being met with the reality of his issues and life. i mean, we've been watching his mental health slowly deteriorate. but now i think everything is finally coming to the surface and getting its focus, which will tie into the supernatural. his coffee contrasts with holly's fantasy novel. reality vs fantasy.
