A meal plan is how you eat on campus, it lets uou in the dining halls. if you live in traditional style dorms you are required to have one

Any ideas for the dining hall with the best gluten free options?

All dining halls have something gluten free, but if your looking for something other than frozen diy food, i sugest east. There is also menus posted online and in the app so you could plan out where you want to go and when

hi, freshman that paid the housing rate for a single suite – what are the odds of me being able to actually get a single suite for fall 2017? asking because i haven't found this answer anywhere & i'm not sure if pick times have any effect on this. thanks!

I'm assuming you selected the rate for single when you applied, that does not necessarily mean you'll get a single, and being totally honest, unless you have a medical/documented reason to have a single, you probably wont get one. Even in selection singles are few and hard to get.

I just failed chem1127, does that mean I have to retake it next semester?

If you need it as a requirment you will have to retake it at some point, but remember that you could take an equivilant at another campus/branxh/university that is approved

Hey I'd like for this page to maybe be handed over to someone who could update it regularly. No shade, but going into my second year, I would have loved to see more recent info before I went in as a freshman. Unfortunately, the page is outdated so I had to rely on other sources. I think there are users out there who have a lot of advice and other important details that newcomers or whoever should know about Uconn (especially new dorms pictures!)

As this blog is mainly devoted to answering questions, and for a while now we haven't had any questions to answer, im not sure what you would like us to do. If you have some suggestions i would love to hear them.

Is honors pick time restricted to honors housing? I would like to use my honors pick time to try to get hilltop apartments (first day, 1:30 pm) but not sure if I’m allowed to do so, or if I have to wait until general selection.

If you have an honors pick time it is restricted to only honors housing

wheeler and wu are all 2-bedrooms. the others have 4.

Has anyone taken Astronomy lab with Jonathan Trump (PHYS 1025Q) just wondering if the class is tough because I'm not very good at science

Can you help with the double dipping thing...? Does using a science lab that is also a Q class count as double dipping, or is that a freebie double dip? Are you allowed to do that also for W class (have it count as a category and a W) or if you do it for Q, you can't do it for W also - is there a limit? Sorry if the wording is confusing...
