"i thought the silver would look cute with all the black and white y'like to wear! of course, you don't gotta.. especially with the work you do! but hey, it's the thought that counts, right?" an arm's slinged around his shoulder now, "and happy birthday, too. of course. and hey, i reserved us special spots at the fishin' joint for today!" "Ah, hello Hifumi-kun."

Blinking a little at the instructions, he simply chuckles and does as he's asked. Feeling the bracelet placed around his wrist, he waits a moment, until Hifumi lets go, to open his eyes. Looking it over as he listens to the host speak, a smile crosses his features.

"Well, I could wear it in my off time."

There would be less of a chance of it getting broken or damaged that way.

Inside was a journal covered in beautiful gold decorations shaped in a flowery-manner and various of hair ties. All ocean-themed. ❝I'm not sure if you do spend any time on your birthday, but if you do, we could always grab something to eat. We don't have to go out.❞ (Have this!!)

Looking up at the other's voice from where he was sitting, Jakurai gives a friendly smile.

"Oh have you?"

At least he was never purposely secretive about such things, if would've made this a bit unnerving. Taking the bag with another smile, he holds onto it a moment to listen to the rest of what Vasco says. A quiet chuckle leaves him.
