“Aw, come on! You cheated!” Umbral pouts before slumping over the table. His arms are stretched out long enough to almost touch Wight across the way.
“Sorry, noodle arms. I don’t think you’d beat anyone at arm wrestling.” Wight grins and reaches out to pat Umbral’s head.
“Motherfucker had it coming. Dumbass.” Nona shakes her head and crosses her arms.
Umbral peeks up, tears in his eyes. “Guyssss... I can be tough, too...! It’s just not in my arms! My arms are made for, um, reaching places nobody else can get to.”
Wight and Nona start laughing as Umbral makes himself sit up straight in his chair again.
“Stop laughing! I could beat Nona.”
“Dude, I’d be concerned if you couldn’t beat Nona.”
“Bet!” Nona slams her hand on the table. “If Umbral can beat me, I’ll buy both of your lunches for a week. If he can’t, noodly motherfucker buys my lunch for a month.”
“That sounds a little unfair, Nonny...”
“Wight eats like a fucking garbage disposal!”
“Oh, come on!” Once again, Umbral slumps over the table. “You cheated,” comes muffled out.
Wight’s losing it with laughter, and Nona looks smug as can be.
“I-- I can’t believe y-you can’t even-!” Wight puts a hand on his cheek, wiping at his eyes. “She’s like, the size of a twelve year old!”
“Bitch, I’m the size of a thirteen year old at least. Shut the fuck up.”
Umbral peeks up from his slump of shame. “You guys are mean. And you’re both cheaters.”
“Shut up, shrimp. Complain when you’re buying my fucking lunch.”
“Should’nt’ve accepted a bet you couldn’t win, Umbral.”
