Mallowchirp was born a kittypet named Mallowmar, and lived a few moons as an outdoor cat before eventually running off alongside her sister, Rocky. They travelled together for a while before ending up near HymnClan, and while Rocky was skeptical of the extremely religious cats, Mallowmar was awestruck. She convinced Rocky to hang around just outside their territory for a little bit, making friends with one or two of the HymnClan warriors, before finally working up the courage to ask to join them. Rocky was furious - how could her own sister leave her behind to join some group of zealots they hardly even knew? - but when she pledged her loyalty to StarClan, HymnClan welcomed her openly.

At first becoming Mallowpaw, it didn't take long for the other cats to realise there was something special about her. Always only half-focused on whatever task was in front of her, staring off into the distance, speaking of cats who no longer existed in their physical forms. Mallowpaw could see the spirits of the dead - just as much as she could see the living, even - and this made her so, so loved by the cats of HymnClan. How lucky they were to have found and accepted this cat blessed by StarClan!

She was made a warrior just as soon as this ability was found out, taking on the name Mallowchirp for her beautiful high-pitched voice. She became their leading voice in prayer, and, though she never accepted any proposals, was asked by many to be their mate. Mallowchirp's entire purpose was to worship StarClan, to serve them in life and to join them in death. It was the least she could do to repay them for leading her to HymnClan, after all! As the years went by, she thought of her sister less and less, nearly forgetting her voice, her face, her name.

But she still had StarClan. Mallowchirp didn't need any sibling who turned down eternal paradise. She didn't need anyone who doubted her ability, any cat who could distract her from her devotion to StarClan. Even the spirits she spoke to, when they started warning her of danger and suffering to come, she ignored. Mallowchirp was blessed by StarClan, in every way, and she couldn't turn away from them now, even if she wanted to.

Mallowchirp was no older than 50 moons when she finally joined the ranks of StarClan, and she couldn't be happier.

visually her design is based off of one of my new hampshire red chicks!! her name is Mallowmar and her feathers were so light she was almost white as a newborn. she has some sort of injury to her left eye where she can't open it fully, which i also applied to Mallowchirp^^ she can still somewhat see out of it - the eye itself isn't directly affected, just the eyelid - but it's definitely harder to see than her right eye.
