Hi! In regards to this post: post/88788179841/tyrant-cast-season-premiere-june-24-2014 Do you know who the men are in the 5th and last pictures? I don't recognize them. Are they new cast members for season 2?
Oh, no, they’re all from the from the first season.the 5th is the mother: barry’s and jamal’s mom.the 6th is michael lehmann which is one of the directors

SUCH A GREAT GREAT NEWS!! Tyrant has officially been renewed for a second season. Coming Summer of 2015.
I absolutely adore you. Ur posts are simply amazing. What is your frankly.me nickname? Can we be friends there?
wow thank you so much! I’m so glad to hear that!I don’t use frankly.me, but i use twitter (:
do you think lela and barry will get together again?
NO
who are the guy who died with hakim at the end? i only see ziad! what about nusrat?
They didn’t show nusrat so much but we can only imagine her feelings after she’ll get her father is dead. and that’s the person jamal murdered
What do you think about the end of tyrant? Do u really think that we Will have a season 2? What about molly sister? In fact Barry was the tyrant ?
I’m ambivalent about this end. From one hand, the whole season taught us that Jamal is “the bad guy” and that Barry is the good guy. I didn’t have a doubt that if Jamal will feel threatened, he will kill Barry. And it’s the requested end. My “criticism” is not about the end as it’s about the season. I mean, the way the showed us was black and white. If we, as audience, could feel that it’s impossible for Jamal to kill Barry the end was stronger. Jamal cannot be SO bad just because of his childhood. he cannot be so “black” without knowing the truth, without being human, in a way. This where the series fell in my opinion, and that’s why (i think) the critics didn’t like this show so much.
About season 2: I think that they will decide according to the viewing figures. There are a lot of things they can put in season 2 and a lot of directions to go to. I hope they will decide to create a neww season, even though, I’m not sure there is even a chance for a new season.
Molly’s sister needs treatment (psychological or psychiatric) and I’m not kidding. She cannot distinguish between good and bad, safe or danger. Molly is like her mother. Something there isn’t good.
You said that, he’s the tyrant. he always was the tyrant. He was the tyrant when he killed this innocent man as a kid and he was a tyrant when he wanted to be the president of this place. Without knowing he’s looking for power. He hids it in good reasons: Jamal cannot be the president, he will ruin this place. and he is right. But the way he tried so hardly to take the place for himself (even if it was with good reason behind it) shows that he’s a freak of power. All his life he was running from there: he left the place, he didn’t contect his family and what’s for? for not being like his father. He cannot run from his character. that’s what he don’t understand. and finally, the real tyrant is only him. (let’s face it, Jamal cannot do a thing by himself. he needs help, someone behind him).

I have a question.. Are the israeli actors really israeli or Palestinian? Because they look so Arab to me.. They dont look hebrew. I just hope they use real Arab actors..
I don’t know what you really meant so i’ll answer about the all cast.At the begining, it’s not Palestinians, it’s Arabs. (maybe some of them are Palestinians but idk).I’ll say it according to the character’s names:Barry + Molly + the kids + her sister + John Tucker + his mom (i’m not sure about that) - americansLaila - an israeli actressjamal, his father, Yussef, Abdul, Waleed Elgadi - Arabs
And almost all the “mini” characters a re israelis because the show was film in israel. you can take for exemple: Samira (Abdul’s daughter) or Or Cohen (the doctor)
* I don’t know about who i didn’t wroter on*
I hope it answered (:
It's odd though the focus on the Al Fayeeds being Muslims and going to the mosque. They emphasized meeting outside the mosque and things like that, yet they focus on alcohol way too much as well. We, muslims, are not allowed to drink!
i won’t say anything about the religious’s prohibitions because i don’t know if every Muslim don't drink, although i know about this prohibition.
I wouldn't speak so strongly about a religion if you aren't a member or know much about it. Not all Muslim women (married or unmarried) wear a hijab, and so no it wouldn't be a "big mistake" if Leila was Muslim and didn't wear one
you’re right, got it.

Isn't Leila muslim on the show? (i think i remember her talking about Allah once) If so, why doesn't she wear hijab?
I don’t remember she mentioned it but if she did it’s a big goddamn mistake@notwhatuwantmetobe - I don't know about the prohibitions of this religion. but as long as i know married women do wear hijab. but probably not all of them, so you're right.
