my head hurts, so disorganized thoughts here. something's not fucking adding up. there was a similar issue with the inquisitorial journal during marisportum...which i thought i could continue being thorough with because i had no idea the tomb was gonna take the TIME that it took. anton seems to vacillate wildly between being cold and detached (and even mad??? voice turns unpleasantly sharp? excuse the fuck out of me) to seeming to care a great deal about the acolyte and giving the acolyte a great many liberties. i don't know. i can't talk to laarthyr on the verdict yet. i wish anton was voiced in the beta and i hope it's not too overly modulated that it covers up his natural voice. after doing marisportum to some degree in the alpha and then doing it in the beta i can't say i'm thrilled at the idea of doing it a third time. also the combat is a chore to me (i don't care for turn-based combat but it felt better in rt? trying to give benefit of the doubt but also i'm a jaded skeptic so we'll see).

i think lucid palace quest is broken--can't find another hidden door. in the inquisitorial journal, you can't make connections you should be able to make? i'm fatigued but basically there's a lot to suspect the lord general and/or the pontifex. i would probably blame the pontifex despite evidence though because i'm biased (like how the fabricator general is gonna be completely "innocent" because i say so)...but i want to know what happened anyway.

i love my whole rt retinue but most of them i initially found fucking insufferable and that trend seems to be going on with dh too
