My father is in Gaza, where every day has become a fight for survival.

A few days ago, he suffered a blood clot in his leg and was rushed to the hospital. His condition is serious, and the doctors have told us that he urgently needs surgery to save his leg and prevent life-threatening complications.

The cost of this emergency operation is $700, and we have only one week to raise it.

Watching my father suffer while being so far away is heartbreaking. I feel helpless knowing that his only chance depends on whether we can gather this amount in time.

Please do not send Character.AI logs/screenshots to rp blogs!!!! That's weird! Any asks or comments like that will be deleted immediately and the sender will be blocked. I've heard from a few mods of other blogs that they've gotten those and they do not like that at all.

And for the love of god do not make bots of people's OCs. I've yet to hear about that happening in our community (unfortunately seen it in a few others though) but better to get the word out before that happens.

I don’t like to be as blunt as that, but it’s necessary. There are people, including myself, who are being affected by the water usage and toxins AI data centers spread. My water pressure has gone up a dangerous amount where I live, and once the data center is built, I may not receive or struggle with water.

This is not just me, this is multiple people. This is single mothers. This is families of 6. This is someone you’ve met on discord or tumblr or whatnot. This is real life, and this will all circle back and this will be you too.

I cannot stress this enough. While you may not see the faces, while you may not be able to extend empathy, while you may not be able to know what all their names are: do yourself a favor and quit using AI.
