What if MID Theory

So pretty much since MID has been out the main five are headcanon and portrayed as "Young Daemos Men."

Young men?

What does that mean by, young? I know it’s probably not a big deal to think about, because in most modern media and the movie industry a young character ranges from 18 - 28. So it probably doesn’t hold too much merit.

If it did though, then what is considered young in Daemos?

As we know, Lady Grandma is around 1000 years old and she looks like an elder. That rules out Daemos being immortal obviously, they’re long living beings. She also said Daemos all over the land used to fight over her when she was in her prime. So that must have been a Long while ago before she got married to Ashe’s late grandfather.

1000 years is a long time to be alive, if the main five are considered “young daemos men” they are probably only in their first century or sm.

I know that was short but I hope it made sense 😭 here’s my next Point!

Why don't Pierce & Rhys Have Pointed Ears and Sharp Teeth?

So a while back, I just can’t remember if it was a comment or a tumblr blog but someone pointed out something interesting. If having sharp teeth is considered attractive, does that mean Pierce & Rhys aren’t super attractive in daemos standards, or at least not that charming?

(Also side note, I know Noi is most often drawn and head canon to have pointed ears and sharp canines, but in the official art of him now, he has regular “human ears” I’ll come back to him in a second.)

In ep.2, Rhys says to let Leif work his charm. Leif uses a calmer voice and then flashes his chompers, then it freaks out an already freaking out Ava. Leif is confused as to why his charm didn’t work.

Rhys then says she’s immune to his charm, probably a cultural misunderstanding.

Having sharp teeth is a charming/attractive trait, so Pierce & Rhys probably aren’t that charming to other daemos but they're still handsome 😅. In ep,10 they all started laughing at Asch being splashed, we see those two having regular straight teeth. Then in their official art and both posters they have “human ears” too.

This is where Noi is that little bit in between, he has double teeth. Sometimes it’s seen as cute and youthful. If that’s the case then he’s probably seen as cute/adorable but not enough to catch attention like Leif does.

Then finally Asch, he has pointed ears and prominent canines, Rhal likely has the same.

All this points to having at least these two traits is what daemos are attracted to. I know that seems shallow and unrealistic, but take a look at we call attractive 😅 and I’m not saying they can’t ever have a lovers or admirers, they def could it’s just they don’t have those physical elements yk?

Why don’t they have both? Is it just character design or is there an another reason?

Since Lady Gradma is 1000 years old, she’s seen the slow extinction of humans all the way until we meet her. So that means there used to be a lot of humans as there is daemos, both species coexisting together in what probably used to be a peaceful world. Even at some point they had mixed families of human and daemos.

That’s probably why they’re a little bit different as well as many other daemos, they most likely could have some human ancestry. This is where the theory gets boring because of genetics 😅 if you understand genetics very well then skip my simplified explanation.

So first off! All the way back when lady grandma was young or even a kid, humans and daemos were probably free to marry and love whoever they wanted to!

Secondly! If a human and daemos had a child together, the child would look like any other daemos child with human in their blood/features. Then if those children grew up and married another human, their children will look more human with a little bit of daemos blood/features. Then just go back and forth from them on.

Thirdly! 4 generations can fit within 80 years. So over time, daemos have human in their blood. That’s why they can get either pointed ears or “human ears”. Simple things like that yk? Over time though, their human side/features become less prominent but still there. Maybe that’s reason why they can wield magic to begin with or not knowing their lineage 🤷‍♀️

Also it shows they began to forbid human and daemos marriages/interactions. Leading to the point that daemos now not even knowing anything about humans other than a source of magic.

This is where my "theory" ends. It's hard to read anything into it bc the history of the daemos world is most likely not the main focus of the series and upcoming season. I grabbed at threads to put this together and it's very far fetched.

SO! The point of this one is, why do they have pointed ears? Why would they cover up the possibility of humans and daemos once living in harmony together 1000 years ago? Did they start using human souls only 400 years ago in their world?!

I lost my train of thought but do you see what I'm trying to say? Correct me if I'm wrong, if I missed anything, if this makes sense.

I'm also trying to peice together other things, though it could take a while to come up with ideas.

Were daemos not meant to have magic?

Who told them that human souls can produce magic, was it by chance a certain demon warlock

First of lady grandma is over 1000 years old. She said she has already been around for a few thousands.

Secondly Lady Bich said Earth was seposed to be a replica of daemos but it eveold differently. So magic dose probably exist unbeknownst to the humans on earth.

If you look at the mini episodes or whater you should call them. Pierce has pointed ears. In the poster there is a TONE of mistakes. Like some characters are mirrored while other arent. Leif dosn’t have his scar. There were more but I can't really remember right now. It is just possible that the one doing the poster didn't notice the mistakes. And that daemos are sposed to have pointed ears. In the other official art, with that I mean in the video were she firts showed the poster a few images of the daemos were showed on screen and there all of them have pointed ears if I remember correctly.

And about mermaid tails. The Daemos have showed up in the after dark series aswell and they are property going to be part of the Aphverse and Jess whent back on her word to have my inner demons be a separate thing. That im my opinion sucks because I really dont like MyStreet and I don't whant them in season two of MID.

I'm sorry if this comes across as rude. I juts find it a little annoying when people aren't as in tune with the lore as they think they are. But it was some fun ideas!
