Here's the Motherfuckin Tea

I'm Tea, welcome to my blog!
Here are some things that i'd like to share with the class before we get started.
I'm 21, I go by he/him pronouns, I'm a virgo (Aquarius moon, and scorpio rising for those who might be wondering). I'm a huge fan of Avatar the Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra (I will NOT tolerate any Korra slander in my vicinity so Korra haters, stay tf away). I'm a bio student at university which is tiring, and a volleyball player addict which is even more so lol. I repost anything and everything so be warned!!
A little something I'd like to put forward are my literary works: Avatar: Between the Legends, The Skin's Memory and Bruises Are Blue.
Avatar: Between the Legends is an anthology of fanfiction that takes place within the ATLA and TLOK universe. It follows the stories of characters that live outside of the spotlight, in the shadow of the grand legends of the avatar. Each chapter is a standalone story except for one two-parter. The current stories I have are the following:
A young swamp bender living in the swamp after Kuvira tried to harvest its vines.
Two Waterbenders fighting in the 100 year war, holding onto each other for warmth
A Southern Water Tribe healer and a Weastern Airbender who fall in love before the 100 year war
A Firebender and a Waterbender out on a stroll in the Spirit Wilds of Republic City
A noble from the Upper Ring of Ba Sing Se who only has her sister to hang onto when the city turns against her
A former pro-bender and a new Airbender finding peace with opposite grief
Before you say anything: yes, I do have a favorite element; no i shan't appologise for it. More stories are planned but this anthology is on the back burner for now to make space for a new project.
The Skin's Memory is a story I'm writing in an original fantasy world of my own making that I'm very proud of so far! It was born from an avatar fanfiction that I had started writing ages ago, but now it's found not only it's voice, but it's own world and language (just to clarify, the story is written in English, that's not what I meant by "own language" lol). It follows the story of Atka and Taiyo, two young men who escaped a secret island where they were forced to be child soldiers since they were very young. This story is about how people survive after the trauma happened, how they define themselves because of it, and what happens when their past inevitable comes back for them. Here's a taste of the story, or an amuse bouche as the French would say:
"Atka’s vision went black. He woke up with a jolt. His heart still pounded a little. His body still ached. His mind was still in the clearing. But then he smelled the warm spices. Cinnamon, nutmeg, sage. Taiyo. Atka’s heart calmed, and his mind was brought back to the waking world with his body. He looked across the room to Taiyo, still asleep in his own bed. Chest, rising and falling. Steady. True. Real."
I have a whole story bible for this project, and I know where I'm going with it, and I cannot wait to share future chapters with you all! I'm also happy to answer any questions about the worldbuilding, and I'm open to any feedback on the writing as well!
Lastly, Bruises Are Blue. It's a quick, short story that I wrote, this time within the Marvel Universe. It's the story of two Mutants, Colt and Sereno, who have an arrangement where Sereno brings Colt Mutants to heal without asking questions, while maintaining distance and anonymity with their patients. It's a story about the cost of care and about finally being seen beyond usefulness. If you want a little backstory on this one, the characters in this story used to be OCs from my Marvel Amino days, but Amino DIED, so I had to create them from just my memory out of the 70 BILLION OCs I had on there. Anyway, think of this story as a shrine to all the creative knowledge and practice Amino brought to me when it wasn't glitching or when there wasn't some dumb drama brewing in the roleplay chats :')
