EG #35 - 12.6.2013
Today was spent trying to fix the arm and failing miserably.
Our plexiglass block arm brook.
Our lift mechanism for lifting up the robot snapped when we were checking it.
All in all, not a good a feeling less than a week until competition.
EG #34 - 12.5.2013
We rebuilt the arm again….for the 7th time and we were happy.
When we tested it we found that the chain was put on wrong and that meant that the arm could not go reach high enough for the robot to pull itself up or to put in any blocks.
Diego finished the bill of materials (whoop whoop) :)
EG #33 - 12.3.2013
We took off the old mount for the chain motor and put in a new one. Because we replaced the mount, both motors now touch the gears and are more even. Diego started the bill of materials again because we lost the first one :(
EG #32 - 11.26.2013
We put the chain back on but then started experiencing problems.
We tried building the arm again but keep experiencing problems.
We figured out that the motor alignment on our robot wasn’t adequate and the arm wouldn’t raise upwards because the gear on the motor and the gear on the the mechanism that drives our arm upward wasn’t meshing.
We attempted to fix this and ended up fixing the alignment of one of the motors, leaving the other one unfixed.

EG #31 - 11.23.2013
Today we have tested the drive-train of the robot.
We are continuing to fix minor chain problems for the main arm.
We also experience some electrical and programming issues.
The programming and electrical problems are basically fixed now.
Now rebuilding the chain and arm for the chain again to fix some problems that we are experiencing.
EG #30 - 11.21.2013
We are starting to put the arm back together first with the chain.
We are encountering problems with putting the chain together.
We have fixed the chain and now we’re fixing minor problems.
EG #29 - 11.20.2013
We started trouble shooting some of our problems. Mainly worked on our drive train and tried to add about 2 inches to the height of the arm.
While doing this, the chain malfunctioned.
Problem after problem, so right now we’ve partially took apart the arm. We’re working on fixing it to our desired height, and getting the chain working again. But we still need to stabilize the arm.
EG #28 - 11.19.2013
Added a second motor to the drive train.
We worked on the arm and came up with solutions for fixing the arm.
We’re looking to implement those ideas this tuesday when we met up.
Keep in mind that, the only problem we’re having so far is with the arm.
Whe troubleshooting is continuing from saturday
We are fixing the chain of the lift arm
We are going to continue the fixing of the lift
EG #27 - 11.14.2013
We hot glued the block arm and attached it to the robot
Jeremy is finalizing the program for the robot
Will suggested that we need another motor to lift the robot up, we agreed. we added the new motor
we are troubleshooting all minor errors that we have left

We put on one of the motors to test how well the arm works with the motors and we notice the arm goes a little haywire so we are trying to fix this problem.
We are almost sure it has to do with our robot.
EG #25 - 11.7.2013
Today we finished the main build of the arm and all we have to do to finish the robot is to attach the both motors to the arm.
We also submitted our T-Shirt designs
EG #24 - 11.5.2013
Its Tuesday and we are very motivated to finally finish building the robot.
T-shirt designs are due soon.
EG #23 - 11.2.2013
We have to finish the arm before Sunday, so that we can show off our robot at Open House. It shouldn’t be too difficult.
We did not finish today, maybe on Tuesday.
EG #22 - 10.30.2013
Today we had a party in the room and it was a pretty slow day.
We tested the programming of the robot and everyone took turns driving it.

EG #21 - 10.29.2013
Nevermind what we said last time, we are nowhere near finished.
Today we looked at the arm and noticed that something was wrong. When we measured the arm it was about 28 in but when we measured the pull up bar it was about 32 in, the arm was too short
Abdi being the beauty he is.
EG #20 - 10.26.2013
Yes! Today was a breakthrough day, we spent the day programming the robot and making sure it would drive and that the flag arm work.
After testing the robot, we attached the arm to the robot and I think we are finished
