[ * Obviously they weren’t getting far, right now Tenna was 13 feet tall, and Seth only being the same height as Kris if not shorter, looked like a child requesting uppies. ]

[ * Tenna kneeled down so Seth could easier access his antennae. If they were so curious, why couldn’t Tenna entertain that curiosity? ]

Being this polished just comes from multiple suit cleanings a week. And.. what do you mean not how’d YOU do it?

*Their eyes lit up as Tenna kneeled to their level like they had just received a bougie gift. They grasped both antennaes, experimentally fiddling with the two aerials. They spoke at a pace of an auctioneer in a fit of excitement.

Well, I just mean; your current form is not combat-ideal at all! Sure, your big, but there’s more then just size to be counted for.

Your way to docile! Considering your status, I think hypnosis would be great… And claws!!! Yes! Talons! If I were you, I’d swap out all my parts—

*Seth sucked in a tiny gasp, hands now beginning to tug at the TV’s arm for seemingly no reason.

*Turns out they were trying to pop off Tenna’s arm. Maybe their to excited. They immediately distract themselves again, tilting their head and tippy-toeing to get a better look of his face.

And where’s your dials? Aren’t TV’s supposed to have dials?? Well..I’ve never seen one, but that’s what everyone says!! Are you defective? It’d make sense…

[ * Tenna hisses in pain when Seth tugs on his arm and immediately pulls back. His fangs slightly bared. Seems like he didn’t like that.. ]

I’d like to keep my current arms, thank you! I just got these welded on!

[ * Tenna spat bitterly. He then immediately realized he sounded horribly rude. He shrank. ]

Ah, I- well, my apologies, my arms were.. are.. lets just not pull too harshly on them anymore!

[ * When Seth made the dial comment, Tenna grew back to his towering height. ]

Gee, kid, a TV never reveals where his dials are! That’s like asking a lady whats in her bag! And-

[ * Tenna shrank again. ]

*Seth quickly lurches back at Tenna’s righteous reaction, letting out an embarrassingly high-pitched yelp. They repositioned their now ajar glasses, taking one step forward with caution now. The expression on their face was a mix of fear and curiosity, but they quickly got over the fear part as they picked apart Tenna’s words.

E-Err- Understood, Mr. Tenna…

*Approaching again would be extremely stupid, Seth thought. And immediately threw that thought in the trash. They closed the distance once more. Curiousity killed the cat, after all. They watched with wide doe-eyes as the TV shrank and grew, pupils tracking every small movement.

Fascinating…! Welded? Like, they came off and you had to weld it back on??

Eheh…Hehehehaha! I don’t wanna pry— but I absolutely do!! Why did you have to weld your arms back on? “Cutting edge tech” doesn’t just fall apart! So either your defective, or something’s up! Does it have to do with your dial? Is that why your so secretive about it?! And what are your “zappers”???

*They excitedly bombarded the man with questions, slightly bouncing up and down as an outlet for their energy,

[ * Tenna’s screen went to static. ]

*They paused their quite frankly; rude questions once they realized it was bugging tenna. You see, Seth couldn’t quite tell when they were being mean about something, but they noticed Tennas shift in behavior..for whatever reason that was.

*Their expression completely dropped when they processed the hushed words. Chopped off?? Seth wasn’t familiar with genuine violence at all, and began stammering over their own words..The possibility of something so serious never even crossed their mind..

[ * Tenna chuckles nervously, before deciding the mood needs to lighten up. He grows back to his full height. ]

*Seth stared as if they were about to say something, yet decided against it. For once, they decided to read the room. Of course the thought still lingered however.

Oh- Um- Seth..! My name is Seth. I-I should have said that before I started prodding at you…That’s my bad, ahah...

*Embarrassment seeped into their face; cheeks flushing a deeper purple. Their voice was a lot shyer now as the humiliation of running up to a STRANGER and passionately admiring them like a mad-man set in. Maybe they should just nope out of social interaction forever.

[ * Tenna scrawls their name onto the piece of paper and hands it to them. It read..]

[ * Keep shining, Seth! -Mr (Ant) Tenna. ]

[ * Average autograph. Tenna grins, hoping they’ll like it. ]

Don’t worry about the prodding! Normally I’m okay with it when it doesn’t involve arm tugging, but you didn’t know, so I’ll give you a pass. I understand being curious! You should have seen Kris when I first ended up in the Dreemurr residence! They were so curious about me but too scared to watch me because they got frightened over the sound of static! Atleast you were brave enough to approach! Ahh, so many memories..

[ * Tenna’s screen flickered. ]

*Seth watched intently as Tenna wrote, tilting their head to the side. They took the note handed to them and quickly stifled a squeak when they read it over. This is their first autograph, like— ever! Their thrilled, to stay the least. They steeled their legs to the ground, as to not humiliate themself further with happy stomps but…they were really, really happy.

*Seth’s expression softened as the TV anxiously rambled. They fidgeted with the paper in their hands. It definitely made them think as well. Think about things they’d rather suppress…

Loving somebody who can flip on a dime…hah…Spending so much time, and then just…losing it.

It really…uh, gets you wild, I guess. Sometimes it feels like the memories don’t really matter if it’s not the same anymore…But, people go separate ways. That’s what Blue told me, at least.

*They directed their gaze to the side, tensed up like a nervous child…Which, in all regards, they were. They nervously laughed, but it was more then half hearted.

You can’t hang onto someone forever, right?…Especially when they barely have time for you anymore. Life moves for them...

[ * Tenna looked down at the ground, his screen going to static. ]

If.. you don’t mind ME asking questions this time around.. how was Asgore? After.. he moved into his shop.

[ * He shuddered a bit, memories suddenly resurfacing like bubbles in his mind. The loud yelling, the crashing, the way Kris and Asriel looked, staring up at him with wide eyes as they turned the volume up on the cartoons to drown out the noise. ]

[ * He wouldn’t burden Seth with those thoughts. ]

*Seth looked a bit startled at the sour question, glancing up at Tenna for a long second. After a little consideration, they began talking.

Asgore…Uhm. He’s good…He talked to us about stuff…Stories, friends. Then when the dark world opened, it kind of…stopped, I guess.

N-not to say he’s been neglecting us!! Just…that he comes around less now. But…people have lives, hahah…

*They clutched at their sleeves, trying their absolute hardest to brush it off. Of course, it wasn’t as lighthearted as they made it— but Tenna was hiding details as well, so…that makes it fair, hm? If anything, their just regurgitating what Blue would tell them..

…He’s getting back up on his feet, though..! That’s a good thing, right.?

Oh, uh…Actually, I don’t really know what the fight was, I just know it was…really bad.

I feel guilty, but I didn’t like listening when he told us so I’d stop listening…

*Maybe that was a bad topic to bring up— they quickly changed the topic, attempting to redirect Tenna’s attention.

[ * Tenna suddenly said. ] You don’t have to feel guilty about not wanting to hear things. Heck, I tried to do the same thing. It’s.. it’s Asgore’s problem to fix and you shouldn’t worry about it.

[ * The words tasted bitter on his tongue. He spent so long trying to fix the Dreemurr household that it felt weird to say. But after Susie talked to him, he felt different. ]

And BOY! Do I know that feeling. Of wishing me and him had more time together. But what can ya do.
