The celebration of rejection of new ideas from established norm tends to make people forget that a lot of the change from the “golden years” during the prime of  "the greatest generation" were moral imperatives. It also makes people feel uncomfortable about changing the ethically inexcusable from our current society

[Glitch Art, noun. \glich-ärt\ :the aestheticization of digital or analog errors, such as artifacts and other “bugs”, by either corrupting digital code/data or by physically manipulating electronic devices (for example by circuit bending).]

I created this work in part using glitch art because anesthetization of societal errors through corruption of artistic artifacts, a corruption or glitch of Norman Rockwell seemed as an appropriate of a metaphor as any for the point I was trying to make about revisionist history.
