â¨For two months, this group has been thriving in all the ways a group can and does. Weâve created such a welcoming home and honestly, I canât thank you enough for letting us be your admins. After some internal reflection by both myself and Sarah, weâve come to the realization that running a group this large and successful just isnât the right fit for us right now.â¨This hurts do say, I wonât lie. It feels unfair to pull the plug on a group that is thriving, but we just know that each of you deserves the leadership that can be committed and invested. As of late, thatâs just not where Sarah and I feel we are drawn to.â¨
I donât have a one size fits all bandaid for how to move forward. If someone wants to take on the concept we created and move forward with it, let me know. If you want to apply for another group, I know two really great ones I can recommend. Otherwise, the only real offering I have is a bit unconventional.â¨
Sarah and I have decided to move to a more relaxed style of writing, one that she described as a ânetworkingâ group of sorts for indie writing. If youâre interested in writing with either of us and potentially other members of this group in that laid-back, no requirements sort of setting, just let me or Sarah know and weâll plug you in right away. We donât want to give up writing and having so many great writing partners that this community has created. We just donât think a formal group is the right fit for either of us anymore, ya know?â¨
That being said, we adore you all to bits. Thank you for being part of Tupelo, and I am always here if you need a listening ear or a friend to talk to. Thank you for your friendship and support in all the things. You guys rock, and this isnât just a generic blanket statement. Iâve never been part of a group as wholesome and supportive and uplifting as this. Truly, thank you all for calling Tupelo home for these past two months.
