Number Eleven: Maestroâs Costume
Was it necessary to take a deep breath before walking into that room? No. Did he do it anyway? Yeah. At least to organize his thoughts before facing Barbee Dahl and the sheer stylish energy they gave was... Goals. And so he cleared his throat and smiled, greeting them.Â
"Okay so... I was thinking something like... Zatanna Zatara meets The Magician. But not that grey suit though. You know? Something like a smoking... ish... structure. I was thinking about those classical maestros if their clothing had been picked by a Hawkeye initiative enthusiast but... Well, the idea remains the same. Perhaps a short jacket, white dress shirt and slacks, although more of a snugger fit? Hence why I mentioned Zatanna. But also... For the pants... Perhaps a dark fabric for the inner side and sheer or other see through material for the outer side? I know my looks and I don't mind showing a little bit of skin. As for colors... I don't know if any of the guys will be wearing blue... Or red for that matter... A very clichĂŠ choice, I know but... You know Musa? Yeah, from the Winx Club. I'm thinking her color palette would be a great match. Strong red and blue details? What do you say?"Â
Only then he pulled out his phone, showing Barbee a collage of the reference pictures he had gathered together.

It took a few hours, which was an impressive feat in and of itself. At least, that was Tristan though when he got to his new bedroom only to find the box on top of his bed. Truth to their word, Barbee and their team had gone far and beyond to bring Tristanâs idea into reality and still make that even better. He had to try that on.
The red fabric was comfortable and clung to his body like a second skin while still giving him room to move and being flashy, just like he had wanted. The shirtless vest-slash-suit was was a genius idea to not cover the see through detail on the sleeves of his shirt. And the shoes... Sweet, sweed gods above those shoes! They were to die for! He would have to ask Barbee if there was any chance he could have a spare to add to his civilian wardrobe.
Not to mention those colors and details. The Venetian mask was a detail that he himself hadnât thought of and he loved what they gave him. And the hat! Perfect with everything! Yes, he was fanboying over his own hero costume. But how could he not to? It was almost like something out of Fashion Week! And the flute... Well, boy he was happy he wouldnât have to take his own flute out on missions. There was the perfect name for it on his mind as soon as he brought it to his lips and tried out the first notes.
Phantom Dream.
Maestro chose Constitution armor and was ready to make his debut.
