She's never envied that Roulecca person’s ability more than right now. This was the second time this week Pacassi had gotten caught in the rain! She’d even tried to check the weather today— only a 2.7% chance of precipitation and yet…
She supposes she can only chalk it up to bad luck.
Pacassi sighs and turns towards the Chief, who, somehow, is already soaked despite the rain starting less than a minute ago.
❝ Um… Chief. ❞ She starts, quietly. She’s sure it comes off as timidness, but, in reality, she is attempting to hold in a giggle that threatens to escape her throat. The whole situation is actually quite funny, she realizes as she looks at the chief. Pacassi is sure that she herself looks equally… like a sopping wet seal, for lack of a better descriptor, but their soaked appearance contrasts with their usual mature (albeit… goofy, at times), elder-sibling-like demeanor.
She covers up a laugh with a cough and tries to school her features back into her normal straight expression before pointing to a nearby café with an awning. ❝ I think… it might be wise to go over there. ❞

Pacassi, perhaps strangely, enjoys overcast weather. It gives a peaceful, subdued mood to the day, tinged with a hint of melancholy. The last of which is caused by memories of Mayek, but she tries not to think about that now.
Rain, however, is not her preference at all. Even though she knows that it is different here than she is used to— balmy teardrops from the sky as opposed to piercing mini-icicles— she still isn’t the most fond of it.
She’s sitting on a bench in the outdoor recreation area, peering over a book Kelvin is reading, occasionally asking questions about the topic. Though she usually spent her time outdoors alone, she was admittedly happy that there was someone else who would sit and read with her, and overjoyed that the other Sinner was also willing to discuss things, as well.
❝ This part, I don’t quite understand. Can you expla— ❞ She stops her sentence short when she notices a drop of something hit the page, near where her finger is pointing. ❝ Oh… ❞
Pacassi looks up at the sky, slowly blinks— and, a split second after she opens her eyes, the sky opens up and the rain begins to pour.
