Ah my just told me it wasnt otomate but Aksys Games that she emailed haha whoops

I mean, supporting ANY localized otome game title that Aksys or any other localization company has worked hard to produce will go a long way to encourage them to do more. The biggest issue I can see is the fact that the Vita is still going strong in Japan and is the format most–if not all–otome games are released in, while it is all but obsolete here in the U.S. And some of my European friends have told me it’s next to impossible to find the handheld consoles in stores there (correct me if I’m wrong guys). 

So that definitely doesn’t help things. They can continue to try to port the games to mobile apps since that seems to help but as we’ve seen there people will still complain even when the app is essentially free.

Which, speaking of, I don’t know if everyone saw (though it was kind of all over the place for a bit), but the drama with Cheritz and Mystic Messenger and the supposed fans who were wrongfully protesting when they were being cut off from cheating isn’t doing the otome gaming world any favors. 

Once something has been localized in your language and made accessible for you, you should be buying it, no excuses. If you’re not paying for these games you’re not supporting the fandom, it’s as plain as that. I know it’s not easy to afford every single thing out there but if it matters to you enough you will find a way. It’s important to remember that these companies need and deserve to make a profit too. There are people working hard for these things and they deserve to be paid for that work, otherwise, what is the point of any of this?

Older! Ryoji Ryukai:

- He owns a flower shop! It’s surprisingly popular, and he’s rather proud of the fact that none of it was gained with the help of his father.

- Ryoji cut his hair shorter as it was easier to manage.

- He doesn’t get into fights anymore, but he still enjoys the bad boy aesthetic. He kept his dyed hair and a lot of his jackets. Though, you’d never be able to tell from the front desk.

- As he owns a business now, he smiles a lot more often.

- His relationship with his family has been mended, but he usually doesn’t assosiate himself with them. He wants to build up his new career by himself, and not with any family connections.

- Ryoji is still friends with everyone. They all get together quite often, even with the major differences in their careers.

- He still has his huuuge crush on Mc. He refuses to admit it to her face, though.

- As he grows older, Ryoji becomes a bit more mature. He doesn’t burst out yelling once he gets irritated. Though, he’ll still jokingly fight with the gang.

If he’s in a relationship with Mc:

- They run the flower shop together. They’re known as the flower couple among the customers.

- They get engaged. Ryoji proposes using flower language in the flower field that all their memories are in.
