Moon Knight

MacKay's Moon Knight book is always so fun to read. Pramanik and Rosenberg on art always delivers with their penchant for great paneling, page composition, and colors. Really elevates Moon Knight's dramatic flair. I'm also always happy to see Robbie Reyes. My only complaint is that they mention the Damnation story but they didn't bring Elsa Bloodstone when she was also in that story but that is simply my selfish wish. Either way this was an awesome "getting the team together" types of issue. I hope more people check out MacKay's Moon Knight books because they're, in my humble opinion, the best ongoing that Marvel has.

Imperial Guardians

Them cancelling this series before the first issue released honestly killed my hype for this series at first, but they really had a fun ride in the issues they were allowed. Unusual team of characters, fun action, pretty funny even when they did some morally dubious things. I hope that more comes out of this with the cliffhanger they left us on.

Spider-Man

I know this guy's books are contentious among comic fans but I actually really like this run so far even with the soap opera drama in the last few issues. I never kept up with any of his runs before this one so it might just be because I don't have that baggage. But I even like the current Venom comic too which I feel is a hot take in itself. Either way. Some fun angst broken up by action. I'm curious what this family member is going to bring to the story going forward.

Wonder Man

Kind of a rushed ending to this miniseries, but I enjoyed this a lot! Very campy all the way through. Hellcat is always fun to see so I'm glad she was around for this story! I don't have much else to say. It was fun to read I just wish there was maybe one more issue to expand on things.

The Flash

Ryan North really channeling the humor of Unbeatable Squirrel Girl in this run and I'm all for it.

Zatanna

I didn't really know anything about Zatanna other than her name before reading this series but I'm eager to learn more about her! She's a fun character to follow so far and the magical antics are very eyecatching. I'll definitely check out her other solo stories.

Home at the Horizon

This is such a heartfelt series so far. I wish more people would give it a look! The series is about a guy (Reo) who was born of an affair and moves in with his half-brother (Ryoma) and grandfather. They start to get along and he helps out at his new family's business and goes to school with Ryoma while keeping the family situation secret. Reo's inner struggle is so compelling to me and it feels like it has been coming to a head in the last couple of weeks. If you check out a single series from this list I beg you to pick this one.

Shinobi Undercover

I love this series and I think Yodaka is such a good main character. The relationship between him and Aoi is very cute. I know it's genuine on his part now but I still await the drama that will unfold when she finds out he was initially ordered to be a bodyguard to her. This chapter really existed to further their relationship and I live for that romcom junk. Also my goat Suzume was there.

Dandadan

Aira character development is always great. Also, fantastic art as always. This arc irked me to no end it first but has been getting back on track quickly.

Money Forest

Since this is the final chapter I wanna say something about it at least! Pretty good ride even if the pacing was messed up by the axe. Main character was interesting and I'll always remember him responding to a bribe attempt with "I'm already rich." And killing the guy. Slightly edgy, but the ending was satisfying. Basically god gave humans magic to do anything they wanted and stopped their aging, but took away their ability to grow and learn. So they killed him. If you want a short, edgy fantasy drama this could be worth a quick read. 6-7/10
