A #timer using five #7-segments displays. The main controller is the #arduino, which sends data serially to 2 #shiftregisters (74HC595) and the shift registers then transfer the data to 7447 #decoders. There are two push buttons used in the timer, the red big button (Start/stop) and the small green (reset) button. Thanks to @twenty_lab_electronics for explaining to me, how to configure interrupts in arduino.
