No Dignity Left

~~MORE SPOILERS~~ Mass Effect Spam until the end of time HURRHURR 

I know it’s a game, but in the short time I’ve played it, it has taught me so much and it made it all the more real.

I Have to say that is is the greatest game I've ever played, but the ending was just horrible. I've never been so dissapointed in a piece of fiction in my life, that includes the Twilight Saga (but keep in mind that I had low expectations for that series to begin with) I've played through the first two games COUNTLESS TIMES. Although I enjoyed Mass Effect 3 more than any other game (that includes Super Mario 64) I know that I can never play it again. After knowing the fate of my squad, I just don't feel right lying to them in the first two games, telling them they'll be alright, when I know they won't... I know Tali will never see her homeworld again, because she'll be stuck on some deserted planet with the rest of the crew minus Shepard. I know that I'll never see my LI again, and I can't just sit there and tell her everything will be alright. I'm hoping that this doesn't make me sound like some pimply virgin living in their parents basement... But I've never identified with a fictional character as much as I have with Commander Shepard. The appeal that I can truly express myself in a game however I want. I can be female, male, gay, straight, badass, hardened, stupid, intelligent, charismatic, a good friend, an enemy, or anything else I choose to be. I can honestly say that I've never played a game so thorough in my life... I'd like to thank Bioware for that, but I'd also like to let them know that they broke my heart when they didn't let me argue in the final scene. I know that my Shepard would never pick any of the three options, even if she were dying of blood loss. As a true Paragon would say:There is always a better option. I guess what I'm trying to say is: Please Bioware, change the ending, or at least give us more options. I don't care if it's cliche, I want to have a happy ending available to me. Ever since I beat the game two nights ago, all I've been listening to is sappy music by the Fray.   ~Laurel (Paragon/Femshep/Foreveralone)
