I wanna start by saying that I've always been a proponent of putting yourself out there for love. I think that a certain level of vulnerability is required if sharing your life with someone else is a part of your life plan. That being said, the world we live in is dark and twisted. There are real monsters out there, more vicious than anything you could possibly imagine. A friend of mine trusted me with her images and her story, in the hopes that they will potentially protect someone else from going through what she did. I have other friends who aren't as brave that have been through similar traumas of varying levels, and it hurts so much to see how much evil humanity has the potential for. "I don't mind telling you because we were always close, but another reason I stayed out of the world was I had a date from Tinder and to be blunt... I was drugged, raped and woke up in Queens (I didn't know, a cabbie told me that's where I was.) My wallet, shoes and phone were gone and there was a necktie tied tight around my neck. It takes more than that to get me even buzzed. So some of the surgeries were for damage done to me during that. It was brutal. Apparently I was beaten sodomized and raped with [an object]... luckily I have no memory. There's an open police investigation but I know the odds are against finding the guy. Luckily the cabbie saw me in the snow bloody and barefoot and took me to the police and they took me to Bellevue for the rape kits. And the guys disappeared. Fake name, email, Tinder account closed and since I never give out personal info when I don't know the person yet, that's where all our correspondence was. Thought I was being smart. So I know you have a lot of friends who are girls. Warn them to be careful. Tinder was cooperative but they can only do so much. I'm letting you see these so you can help other girls. With the necktie, they think he may have tried to actually kill me and I got lucky. They did say I fought him which may have made him beat me. He fucked up my ribs, back and stomach because he apparently kicked and punched me when I was out. He also did other things more embarrassing and invading... that's why I needed surgery. Cops said I was tough though because I had fought so I had DNA under my nails but it doesn't help because his DNA is not in the system. He's never been arrested. But one thing is good. I remember his face so if I [encountered him] I'd spot him in an instant. Sadly, my only chance [for justice] is if he does it to someone else and I really don't want that. I'm showing you these to help your friends. Maybe if they see what happened to me, they'll take extra care. So you know another reason for my disappearance. I couldn't be seen like this. Not everyone knows. My mother doesn't even. I slept with a knife under my pillow for a while because I knew he had my info, but I think he took my wallet, shoes and phone to slow me down if I was alive. Slow me so he could get away. I thank God that cabbie was kind."
