We can't help it that all of our favorite photos have lots of kisses!  Pretty typical for an engagement shoot, right?

  The bride says it started raining in the middle of their shoot.  Do you think that's what inspired their very own re-creation of the rainy make out scene from the Notebook??

A beautiful country wedding in Newcastle, California.  Set on the property where the bride grew up.  

There is nothing better than a wedding with personality, which is apparent in everything including the attire, with the groom in his Marine Corp uniform and the bride in her cowgirl boots.

We can't get enough!  This wedding is the definition of rustic elegance!  

We love all of the rustic and beautiful details from the chalk board signs and burlap to the antique furniture and the DIY floral arrangements.  

The bride said her favorite moment at the wedding was when the DJ played "Small Town Girl" by Journey.   All of the guests jumped up and down, singing and dancing around her!  "I'll never forget the way I felt in that moment."  Pure bliss!  

Awesome wedding dance!  We love the mix of slow sentimental with fast and fun!  

First Dance: Evey & Fred

A first-hand story from the Bride:  

Early in the morning Kyle nonchalantly said, "I have a fun idea for today, but I want it to be a surprise".  I love spontaneity, so I didn't ask too many questions.  I was all in!  As I was getting ready, I inquired about what to wear.  He pulled out his suit and said, "I’m wearing this, but you wear whatever you would like". At this point I was a little suspicious, but not too suspicious since he is notorious for planning awesome dates just because. 

So, we left the house and started driving toward an undisclosed location.  Eventually, we arrived at a private airport and I found out we were going on a helicopter ride!  How fun!!  The helicopter flew down the coast and over San Diego to a beautiful winery in Temecula.  We wine tasted and enjoyed a delicious lunch. 

After, we were walking through the vineyards hand in hand and thats when it happened!  He turned toward me and began saying all sorts of sweet things.."you're my world" is the last thing I heard and then everything became a blur...I thought to myself, "Oh my gosh this is it!"  The next thing I knew he was on one knee with a beautiful rock asking me to be his wife!!

To top it all off he hired our very own paparazzi to capture every minute!  We got proposal and engagement photos all in one!  I couldn't have dreamt of a more perfect day!

Kayla & Alex:

"Alex took me to Asheville, NC for a romantic weekend getaway. We spent a day touring The Biltmore and then stayed at The Grove Park Inn. Before we went to dinner we were walking the grounds and Alex popped the question!!!" - Kayla

Jennifer & Michael:

"Michael proposed on April Fool's, but I knew it wasn't a joke." -Jennifer

Anny & Gareth:

I proposed on a lovely beach in the Philippines, amongst the palm trees, with the sound of the waves gently lapping against the shore and under a beautiful blue sky.  Now it did have a little drama.  I walked Anny up to a small cliff edge under the pretense of showing her something.  She tentatively approached the edge to see below a message written in the sand.  It read, “Will you marry me?”  She turned to face me, only to see me on one knee with my hand outstretched.  I placed the ring on her finger and uttered the immortal words.  Thankfully a teary eyed Anny said, “yes”! - Gareth

This groom is a huge Cardinal's fan, so him and his bride planned to do wedding photos outside of Busch Stadium, but much to their surprise, they were let into the stadium and on the field for what turned out to be a great photo shoot!

Ronni and Erick are both filmmakers - she's an actress, and he's a director & producer.  So naturally, they wanted to have a theatrical wedding.  They chose a pirate-theme, on International Talk Like a Pirate day, aboard a pirate ship!  

According to the groom, the best moment at the wedding was "Looking out at 60 of our nearest and dearest friends and relatives, realizing they had all flown across the country in the middle of the week and dressed up as pirates, just to hang out with us."
