I am trying to cell graze the cows, setting up portable electric fences I am giving 12 cows about an acre every day or so ( depending on how well they have grazed the stubble. I need them to do the job of clearing all the old growth from last year away so the new seasons growth can flourish. Designing new veggie garden. After leaving Tooperang I feel lost without my veggies, now in our own house I will be building more permanent wicking beds because they are far more water efficient and are raised above the ground making it nicer on my bad back. This stage one garden will be what I am calling my kitchen garden, it’s the kind of garden that will be visited multiple times a day to collect bits for cooking. Stage 2 will be where I grow main crops ( storage crops, sweet potatoes, pumpkins etc ) but that is in the future. This is exactly why we have to control foxes in the landscape, these are boxthorn fruit in a fox scat.
