Everythingâs Gonna be Alright|Tristan & Maddie
Tristan turned to look at Maddie with a look of mock disbelief on his face. âMaddie dearest, are you really asking me why Iâm such a good friend to you?â Tristan shook his head. âYouâre different Maddie. I like you. You gave me the chance to open up and you donât shamelessly flirt with me all the time, or at all. You donât cling to me and beg for attention. I like that about you. And youâre a good friend to me, so I have to repay you somehow.â Tristan sent her a smile. He flipped the grilled cheeses one last time before placing them onto plates. He passed a plate to Maddie and went to go sit on her couch. He patted the spot next to him. Motioning her to sit next to him.
âOh yeah. Sofia was absolutely crazy. Ridiculous. She did so many crazy things and she had so many storiesâŚâ Tristan trailed off. Remembering all the times he had tagged along with her. âYou doubt my dancing skills?â Tristan shook his head after taking a bite of his grilled cheese. âHoney, when weâre finished, youâll be a professional twerker. Youâll be twerking for Miley Cyrus before you know it.â Tristan smirked. âI canât believe Iâm actually going to teach you how to twerk.â He chuckled, taking another bite of his sandwhich.
âYou know, I can teach you all sorts of dancing. I can even teach you how to tap dance. I took tap for quite a while, it became one of my favorite dance types, too. I took contemporary aswell, that was fun. But out of everything, I loved singing the most. Now that was something I was good at.â Tristan rambled. He realized he was probably boring Maddie, with all his arts talk. Thatâs when he remembered her book. âSo can you tell me anything about your book?â He dug, trying to figure out anything about it. He was genuinely excited about it, for her. How many people can actually say theyâve gotten a book published? âI bet itâs a fan fiction about me.â Tristan smirked, leaning back on the couch with his arms crossed.
âYes, Iâm really asking you why are you such a good friend to me. Is there something wrong with that?â She smiled a little. As she heard him talk she bit her bottom lip. âYou really think so?â Well, she wasnât ever the sort of person who just went around flirting with people. Although she had kissed him. But that had been a whole different situation. Maddie smiled back to him before she grabbed the plate that he was handing her. âThis actually smells really amazing.â She didnât even realize she was hungry, but she actually was. She followed Tristan back to the couch and sat next to him.Â
âI can only imagine the amount of stories she mustâve hadâ She imagined Sofia as a person who got herself into all sort of things, and although she never met her personally, it was just the way she imagined her. âYes, I think I do doubt your dancing skillsâ She joked. Maybe he could actually be amazingly good, she just had to figure it out. âOh my god. My biggest dream in life will come trueâ She grabbed her sandwich and gave it a bite. After she swallowed she looked at Tristan. âYou could be a professional Grill Cheese maker.âÂ
âReally? Tap dance? Contemporary? Iâve got two left feet.â She was somewhat amazed, just because she never imagined Tristan being the sort of person who actually danced. âSinging? Youâre good at singing? If I would ask you to sing something for me would you do it?â She took another bite of her sandwich before answering him. âNot really, I canât. But I can tell you that youâll be the first person to get a copy before the book is even out.â Maddie giggled and shook her head. âItâs definitely not a fanfiction about you. I could never write a whole book about you!âÂ
"Yeah, I can sing you something. Depends on the song though, nothing too cheesey." Tristan told her. He'd never sang for anyone before. No one ever really asked. He missed singing, he wanted a reason to sing again. But he'd never found one, so singing in the shower was all he could do. "You're so lame." Tristan rolled his eyes at the fact that she couldn't tell him anything. "Are you kidding? You could write a series about me. My bring eyes and charming smile and the way I'm perfect for you. Yep. There would have to be a series because it would take the whole first book just to describe my sexiness. " Tristan smirked at her, laughing to hinself.
"Alright, come on, get up." Tristan got up from the couch, pulling Maddie up with him. He stood up in the middle of the living room and tugged her next to him. "Okay, the secret to twerking is all on the back." He told her, squating down and putting his hands on his knees. "Let's start off slow, move your butt up," he arched his back and moved his but up. "And then down," he released his back and moved his butt down. "Then you can speed it up." He laughed a little as he started twerking. Twerking was the weirdest feeling. It was like shaking a pudding cup up and down to feel the jiggle. "Alright, now it your turn." Tristan motioned for her to take his place.
"You're not that bad." Tristan fell back on the couch from laughter. "I guess it's time for me to sing now huh?"
