“yea, yea mom.” tris answered and followed suit. really there was no reason to look into tris’s life, she was boring and she was a bit embarrassed by it. “then don’t. why do you keep it up?”

“dark shit that parents hate.” tris smirked, biting her thumb as she straightened up. “some people think i’m some kind of devil-worshipper. and maybe i am.”

“yea, yea.” tris nodded, not arguing as rhys entered and started helping her clean up. plus she hated the end of her binders. “i mean, depends on what you like.”

    " burn the people who did me wrong or burn the shoes? i can go with either, “ she was slightly over dramatizing the situation but her frivolous grin remained intact. “ i’m kidding. it was a fucking bust but i know that i was serving looks so, at the end of the day, i guess a girl’s got to remain grateful. “

“both, for sure.” tris nodded, her face still cold stone. “you know, you do you. i can’t do shit like that, and i definitely don’t serve looks.”

“you’re not wrong there.” tris nodded in agreement, she didn’t even try to argue with people anymore. “i don’t sit and i almost exclusively where black. that’s my requirements.”

“can’t say that it wasn’t at least a little funny.” tris shrugged, she thought she was fucking hilarious.

“you nailed it right on the head.” tris replied dryly, ignoring the sting of the woman’s words. “aren’t you so smart and special barbie?”

“who fucking likes cleaning up?” tris raised an eyebrow, moving to throw and empty container in a trashbag. she was just glad that most of the evidence of her slight bender was gone at the moment. “just some shit, had time while everyone was away. not my best.”

“wow.” tris feigned shock, a little impressed by sia’s sudden harshness. not that she blamed her, tris deserved it more and more. “ya, go fuck your mom’s cocks.” tris shouted to the paps as she moved to slide into sia’s car, flipping them off through the windows as their camera’s flashed. maybe she’d end up on tmz or some shit later. “you should go off more often, maybe they’ll back off.”
