Quiet and reserved, Maya appears to be someone who allows the world to pass by around her. She's content that way, wanting more to not involve herself with others, and instead to pay attention to the world around her, to the signs it gives her. She's carefully observant about every living being, and yet she's terrified by human life. She's a hobbyist by nature. She's taken more classes and learned more crafts then she knows what to do with. She enjoys using her hands, creating beauty with them. She's a hard worker, dutiful even, and when she sets her mind to something she never stops until the job is done. When not outside working in her shed, she can be found with her nose in a book. They are her escape, her palace of knowledge and she treasures them with all of the love in her heart. She constantly questions the universe, a philosopher at heart, looking for meaning in all things and constantly searching for knowledge. That is her one true love.
