Damage and the goods

Posting and pinning this to motivate myself to finally post my art on here (so scared).

Some things I really enjoy are: vampires, Resident evil, Death Stranding, Hannibal, IWTV, Merlin, TMA, Doctor Who, Supernatural, Dead poets society, and practically anything where homoeroticism is used as metaphor or allegory ("unintentionally" or otherwise) I WILL be there.

I like to think I'll get a little niche community of people who may be interested in my characters or fanart of characters they also like!! Though that's a bit big to hope for, but I'd really like to share my little freaks.

I burned out really bad before the actual fights began for the last two years I was trying to participate, but I hope to change that.

A big theme I'm going for in my fic for Higgs especially is purpose. In the games he is made into a tool by *almost* everyone in his life, and a big reason why he's fine with it is because of the purpose it gives him, making him able to contribute to the person giving him purpose, and so that he isn't *alone*. And of course for Amelie, I wanted her death to hang over Higgs in the battle, but I also wanted him to internalize that even if he were to go through with his plan, his original purpose (curated for him BY Amelie) could no longer benefit her, this was all a personal goal that he took on himself in HER stead.

And goodness, don't even get me started on the way he mirrors her appearance, as well as his personas (they're so good). The masks that are Higgs Monaghan and the God Particle directly correlate to Higgs Boson: in short, a mechanism/particle that gives everything its mass. Which I feel well represents Higgs as a character that (usually) requires someone else, a REASON in order to do his job (like his co-dependency on Amelie as well as his dependence on Sam being in opposition of him).
