We're finally ready to release our pilot episode to the world! In this pilot episode, Garrett DeOrio and Kozo Ota discuss PM Abe after the Upper House election, the portrayal of Japan in the foreign media, and the appointment of Caroline Kennedy as US Ambassador to Japan. We're still working out the kinks and appreciate all comments positive and negative!

Most notably we'd like to change our opening and closing music from the current Apple loop to something more original. If anyone would like to contribute music to the show please drop us a line!

Planning for the TPR comeback continue in earnest and we don't have anything concrete to announce yet. What we can announce is that TPR will be hosting a Upper House election results stream. TPR co-founder Garrett DeOrio will be joined by Adam Richards of Mutantfrog and Kozo Ota of Tsubamegun to preview and go over the results on election night. The show is scheduled to start at 20:00 JST on election night (July 21).
