Heres our first sapphic couple from G4! Princess Ocypete and Captain Celaeno are childhood friends turned lovers in season 10 of the mlp comics!

I love them,. but they certainly have problems. they as a group are a good idea, and they have the archetypes that are missing from the mane 6 (sarcastic ass, socially anxious but not shy etc) BUT they defo get lost in poor writing and have lazy ideas my least fav of these lazy ideas is the 'Smolder wants to actually be feminine' bc thats sooo BORINGGG. Personally if I had to include that in her story i would have talked about different gender stereotypes in different cultures and how that could affect her relationship with being a woman. Maybe she feels pressure to conform to 'Pony' standards of femininity instead of being a butch who secretly loves dresses. much more interesting imo. Her and Gallus are my favs tho
