You could be a boy or you could be nonbinary, but it doesn't sound like you're cis (in my experience, 90% of cis people have never questioned/felt distressed about their gender).If you "want" to be a boy, that's kinda the first sign you actually are a boy. Really, the only way to get through the questioning phase is to research and do some self exploration (like trying out different pronouns, names, and playing with your gender expression).Best of luck!

Listen dude, I know this sucks, but if he isn't cool with it he isn't the type of person you should be involved with anyway. If you're already out to your family and stuff, or trust him not to tell other people if he does react badly, I'd just be blunt.Tell him you're trans, and that you didn't want to hide such an integral part of yourself from him anymore. If he reacts badly, you could always give him a little bit to calm down, but if he continues to deny your gender or other transphobic nonsense, drop him like he's hot.Basically, don't date (or even be friends with) anybody who "isn't cool with" you being trans, because, simply put, they aren't worth it. The people who love and care about you will accept you, even if it takes a bit of time and education at first.Remember - there are plenty of other guys (or people in general) who will accept you for who you are and like you romantically no matter whether or not you're trans. So if it doesn't work out this time, don't fret! It may hurt at first but you will be so much better off.
